Flotsam and jetsam. (Which are Neopets species, too.)
1) I have bought a skirt for tomorrow's wedding which doesn't make me look 300 feet wide. (The one I was intending to wear, in my wardrobe... really does. It's such a pity, because it's a lovely skirt, but it just doesn't suit my shape.)

2) Cleolinda, of "Movies in 15 minutes" fame, has a series on her LJ called The Secret Life of Dolls, which chronicles the exploits on her shelf of collector's dolls.
She is obviously now fangirling me, which made me unduly excited. ;op

3) At the beginning of May, my friend is opening an art exhibition called "The Happiest Show on Earth". Basically it's anything cute and fluffy and sickly sweet. :-D
I'm making a custom MLP for the show, and I am also knitting THIS. It's fabulous. (I'm not wasting good merino on it, though - I'm using a massive ball of acrylic I acquired from my mum's old stash.)

4) It's almost the 5th birthday of the little boy I babysit. I was wandering about in TK Maxx today and I stumbled across the most perfect present ever for him. And it was less than half price! I'm so pleased with myself.

5) I had my hair cut! FINALLY. No photos yet but I'm sure there will be plenty after the wedding.

6) It was the last Chatterbooks yesterday, for this set of kids. We had a quiz and played Pass the Parcel, which went down extremely well. The last forfeit was "Pretend to be a chicken with its bottom on fire" and I they thought that was HILARIOUS. For the last ten minutes we played outside in the story garden, then I gave them each a pink cupcake and sent them off home. And! One of them brought me an Easter egg! I was so touched.

7) I'm going now, because we're aiming to leave at 6. To which I can only say, HAHAHAHAHAHA.
