I know I will be with him for the rest of my life, but it's still a big deal to me. 2. What was your biggest disappointment? That I am still not pregnant. I know, I know...I do keep going on about that, but I've wanted to be a wife and mother since i was 18, i'm a wife, now waiting to be a mom. 3. What do you hope the new year brings? I hope it brings well...a baby? who knows. I hope it's better than this one, not that this one was that bad. just all the stuff with his divorce and everything... I hope it brings his divorce through. 4. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? If yes, what will they be? I don't plan on it. Maybe to lose weight, like 7 million other people in this country. 5. been a while [18 Dec 2003|01:26pm] [ mood | pissed off ] [ music | FoodTV ] well...this week has been one of those weeks. I spent Sunday with the guys playing D&D. that was great! I didn't realize how much I really missed them. we won't be gaming until after the new year, but I plan on being there at least once a month, they game twice a month. I need to make my OT sometime...but being off Friday and Saturdays in January, I may be able to make both sessions...just work fridays instead. then monday, boring day stayed home all day. Tuesday went to the meet up. It was good. I enjoyed it and the food was great! I hope to be able to go to those meetups more often. Maybe go to different ones, D&D, Goddess...it's a great service I think. then went to work, they had leftovers from the company party. I put some rice and beans in my leftovers from Picant Grill...it ended up being a good mix. I had to go to the hospital to sit with a resident, that was incredibly boring. she had the TV on some mexican channel and I don't speak spanish, so it sucked. but I got to read thru a good chunk of my new book, DragonLance Chronicles...the Annotated version!! so that was good. Wednesday was payday, got my check and went to Sun Harvest. I LOVE that place. I'm coming down with a cold/flu type thing. should be able to go to work tonight, depends. I feel better the longer i'm up, but I feel like crap when I first wake up. and it takes a few hours to feel better. I don't take medicine...I just drink my chamomile and peppermint tea with LOTS of honey and lemon. But that makes me all realxed...so I may take off tonight too. But my house is smelling good, I got some cloves, orange peels and cinnamon in water on the stove. Now it's Thursday, and I'm sitting here not able to smell my potpourri, head all stuffy, nose runny, bones achy..but no fever today! Yippee!! and I'm about to eat some tamales...not the home made kind, only cuz I don't know anyone who makes them to give away or sell. ( now for the bad part ) but my tamales are ready, not that I can taste much, but it's more of the comfort factor anyway. post comment

It's just some puzzle game and I am addicted. what else is usual? but news...it is not bloody likely that we will be getting married in February...his ex wife is not cooperating. "at my convenience" were her words. oh....i'm not going into it any more I'll end up sitting here and crying again. but it's damned annoying. And I have found another journal site.. Greatest Journal. and I can have more than 3 icons on it, so it's cool. I have been posting my dreams on it, here and they have several celebrity RPGs and I've joined one of those as Rose McGowan (of all ppl...I don't know what possessed me to pick her either) but here's that game's website Luminaries. other than that and work, i have not really done much lately. been bitching about his ex, planning a wedding that now I have no clue when it will happen. *bangs head on desk* so I found this on skly_ish's journal. Um, I live in south Texas...what is this "snow"? and cold weather? I'm don't care much, except when I have to get into a cold bed. and because my hubby is hypothermic. I like the moderate kind of weather, los in the 50s and highs in the 80s That's my time of year. 2. What is your ideal holiday celebration? How, where, with whom would you celebrate to make things perfect? I miss the Christmas Eves of my childhood. Running around my granny's house with the cousins screaming "is it time yet? isittimeyet???" every five minutes. but everyone knows you can't go back. Now I'll settle for dinner with my family where no one ends up in tears because of something someone said 10 years ago. and dinner with his family where his father and mother treat him like their beloved son, as opposed to the family fuck up. a perfect holiday? dinner with EVERY member of my family, father included, at my granny's house, just like they used to be. but well, you can't go back... 3. Do you do have any holiday traditions? well, his family has tacos every christmas eve. my family has christmas eve present opening at granny's house, with tamales, and all kinds of good food. and for christmas day dinner, my dad would make the potatoes, my mom would make the stuffing. Now...I'm an adult, with my own house and so far the only thing i've done the same every christmas is to work and be there for the residents. oh..and I take one of the residents out for Christmas dinner, her family lives out of state. 4. Do you do anything to help the needy? I give money to the salvation army, you know the santa's outside the stores. I give at food drives. I donate clothes that don't fit me anymore. I do what I can, I don't have much, but I help when I can. 5. What one gift would you like for yourself? ooohh...let me think...a baby? okay, so i can't get one of those on such short notice, but it would be nice if that was the present God gave me, pregnancy...morning sickness, puffy feet, non stop nausea, back aches...I must be crazy to want all of that. But a realisitic gift...how about a DVD/VCR player. or a cell phone I can get programed for T-Mobile. post comment

I wanna say he is 30? maybe 31...either way Happy Birthday Raven (just on the off chance you read this....make sure you watch Jesus Christ Superstar and think of me) but it's sad because I have not seen him in a couple years. It's one of those days I spend all mopey cuz I miss people and have no clue how to get a hold of them again. Friday Five time!! [28 Nov 2003|10:48am] Friday Five 1. Do you like to shop? Why or why not? YES!! don't know why, just do. I can go to the mall, try on all kinds of clothes and not buy a single thing, still call it shopping. it's fun. 2. What was the last thing you purchased? for myself? a pair of flamingo pink doc martens. unless you count food that I bought last night. 3. Do you prefer shopping online or at an actual store? Why? actual store especially for clothing. i'm a hard to fit and I would rather try on the clothes i'm buying. as for other things, well...it's just easier for me...i'm way to impatient to make online buying something I do as a matter of course. 4. Did you get an allowance as a child? How much was it? nope, not really. when I was a teen ager, i would get like $20 when I went out with my friends. 5. What was the last thing you regret purchasing? um...let me think...nothing really. I really oughta just break down and get a phone..but then again, i'm supposed to be SAVING money not spending it. But a cell phone is very useful...
