Remind me to recommend Newegg.com to anyone who wants to buy new computer parts. Great Online store. I bought me a 512 MB DDR400 Crucial Ram, a 160 GB Western Digital Harddrive and a Geforce FX 5200 Nvidia PCI Video Card. It came a few days early (Not really though, It was supposed to come this tuesday, it came yesterday, Friday, so it was a day early basically, because Fedex doesn't ship on the weekends or holidays.) I immediately installed it and now I really notice a boost in speed. However the video card was a pain to get working. I spent literally ALL night trying to get it to work. I got it working at 6:30 AM this morning. Oh and the Video Card also has a TV out jack, so I can project my picture onto my TV, or split the picture between my monitor and TV, so that half the screen is on my monitor and the other half on the TV. Today I played Halo to test it out. I had every feature maxed out, and the game still ran smooth. |
