Sick as a muthafucka
So I am still sick today. I brought a box of tissues to work so I didn't have to bum some off the girl next to me. I started to get worse. I thought I was starting to get a fever. I took my temp... 98.7. What the fuck! I know I am higher than that. I took 2 aspirins and a chug of nyquil (It is the ONLY Alcohol I consume, and I drink it extremely lightly, because it does work in small doses. I only drink it to help me sleep when I am sick. Plus it is yummy!). I am not sure how I will feel tomorrow, but if symptoms persist, there will be no work for me. I haven't taken a sick day yet since I worked for them. It would hurt to take a day off now, because I like the people I work with, plus tomorrow is chicken day! Almost everyday we order lunch from somewhere downtown. Today I had two slices of pizza from Prima Pizza I think it was called. My favorite place to order from in that area is Hemmingways. They make great chicken fingers. I also like a place called Lydia's Pearl. Their french fries are the bomb (They are fucking huge!) and their grilled chicken sandwich is fantastic, especially "in the grass", meaning with spinach. Great place. But chicken day at work means we go to KFC. I think some of their food is alright, but I usually get crispy strips with mac/cheese, Mashed Potatos with no gravy and a biscuit. I wonder if they still have the twister thing there. I know they change the menu like every day there, it will make your head spin. They better fuicking have the twister... |
