I'm desperately searching the net for some help with ideas on what to write my essay for 'Roman Elegaic Myth' on. 'Tis not easy! So far I've come up with a random list of topics and I have no idea if they can be cohesive in any way, or if I can be even slightly original with them, which I suppose I have to be to get the best marks. It's like picking my dissertation subject, but worse, because I've hardly read anything at all about latin elegy, whereas I know a reasonable amount about Vergilian studies and what's been done already to at least attempt some originality. Eeek! and it needs doing for tomorrow. Yay for me, the last-minute-decision queen!
And the Leeds university server is not a happy one! Which makes catalogue searches so much more fun.
I other news, I'm really excited about posting the topics for the  writingprojects. I did a little brain-storming session last night when I should have been working on my essay and came up with some nicely abstract ideas. I can't wait till Thursday - I want to post them now!
