9:08a - so tired...
I'm so tired
I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired
My mind is on the blink...
I feel guilty for not updating :( Not that I imagine millions of fans have been striken by my departure. But commuting to Leeds practically every day this week and trying to do my reading for the modules is taking its toll a bit. I am supposed to go in today for a bit of a semi-social but I've just been advised not to go, which makes sense, because I still have a ton of work, but I have no way of telling the nice people that I'm not coming. Grrr. I'll see them Wednesday, and I'm sure it won't be a big issue, but I still feel bad. I'm trying to make the effort with friends and so on but I'd really rather it happened ad hoc, so to speak - and that I didn't have to go in today, my one day off!
But anyway, sat in the pub with the postgraduate Classics community yesterday for about three hours! After Durham they're such a relief. I'm actually getting so much better at socialising. I surprise myself - so much kudos to me!
However, I do have Ovid, Tibullus, Propertius, Cicero and books on Hellensistic philosophy to plough through before Tuesday and Friday respectively of next week. Interesting, yes. But tres tres exhausting!
