I'm just sitting here, listening to Sting's new album, which is making me feel a bit deep and depressed! Not that it's bad, it's not - tho' he's not what he was a decade ago. It's all very contemplative stuff, but I'll get used to it- some nice melodies thusfar.
I suppose I should write about going to Leeds. I'm a bit mentally knackered by the prospect actually, not because it was bad, just because I've told the story a lot now. It was all fine actually. My only gripe is the lack of attractive men, or indeed men of any kind pretty much! I was sort of hoping for a bit of action in that department, but hey. It'll happen when it happens.
Anyway, got the train, nice and early. Got into the department and got talked to for a bit about administrative stuff, then we went to the 'common room' and sat around and chatted for a couple of hours! The lecturers and the students together and got to know everyone. I was very good and talked to people:) they all seem really cool so hopefully it'll all turn out well.
I have to go in tomorrow as well, and most of next week, for registration, fresher's fair and module option talks. Should be cool. I'm feeling optimistic about it anyway.
