11:40PM - Watch it Wiggle.. See It Jiggle

OOooo It was Wiggly ... Of course we are talking about the last Midnight Snack Attack TOPIC!
** JELLO **

OO yes.. its been around forever.... and the first 4 flavors were:
Orange, Lemon, Strawberry, & Raspberry... Then Lime was introduced in 1930's
Dj Wink.. came close to guessing all the correct flavors... :P

The first famous phrase for Jello was: "There's Always Room For JELLO"

There are AWESOME receipes for Midnight Snacks that entail using JELLO... Like that crazy but good Ambrosia salad you get for the holidays.. I think my Aunt Rita makes.. LOL

PLUS heck.. all the NEW and updated uses.. LIKE: JELLO Jigglers and JELLO SHOTS (for all you that drink like fish) LOL

So I am posting both reciepes HERE!

JELLO SHOTS -
6 ounces Jello (large package)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
6 ounces Water (cold)
10 ounces Vodka
Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and add the cold water and alcohol. Pour the cooling mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups. Shot glasses are more attractive, but drinker can turn the paper cups inside-out to more easily eat the alcoholic jello.

JIGGLERS
Ingredients
2-1/2 cups boiling water (Do not add cold water.)

2 pkg. (8-serving size each) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any flavor

Preparation
STIR boiling water into gelatin in large bowl 3 minutes until completely dissolved. Pour into 13x9-inch pan.

REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours or until firm (gelatin does not stick to finger when touched).

DIP bottom of pan in warm water about 15 seconds. Cut into decorative shapes with cookie cutters all the way through gelatin or cut into 1-inch squares. Lift from pan. Do not swallow JIGGLERS® whole.

EASTER JIGGLERS: THIS IS SO CUTE Great For Family Get Togethers.. Make a little basket with Jello and garnishes with little candies.. VERY COOL

Ingredients
2-1/2 cups boiling water or boiling apple juice (Do not add cold water.)
2 pkg. (8-serving size each) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any flavor
BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut, tinted green
String licorice
Decorating icings and gels
Assorted Easter candies

Preparation
STIR boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 3 minutes until completely dissolved. Pour gelatin into muffin pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray, dividing gelatin evenly among cups.

REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours or until firm. Dip bottom of cups in warm water about 15 seconds. Lift JIGGLERS® from cups, placing each in a bowl sprinkled with tinted coconut. Make a handle for each basket by inserting string licorice into gelatin. Decorate baskets with icings and gels. Place candies around baskets.

Certain*DJ... well she only picks the eyes off and eats them..

10:37PM - Mud Pies

Mud Pies..
Yes.. we were talking about good ol' mud pies.. they type you make as a kid and the type you MAKE for the KIDS.. I was so inspired because our mini van got caught in it.. infront of our house.. I HATE DIRT ROADS!!... oo yes.. it was buried.. and it was ON the road.. Dj Hollie Ann was on the air.. I hailed her and told her about it.. so she played a few awesome songs to make me laugh!!! very very sweet of her *hugs*
Soooo it so inspired me to do the Midnight Snacks program about Mud Pies..

Most famous type are made with the "all mighty" Oreo Cookies!!! Mud Pies are a NO bake type of desert.. and anyone can make them. They are made with cool whip, vanilla & chocolate pudding and other awesome goodies.. You don't have to be Betty Crocker to make them either... Which makes it a great project for you & kids.. For parites you make them in clear plastic dixie cups "mud cups", and garnish it with edible gummie worms / gummie frogs. Also you can throw on a artificial flower on top to look like your "mud cup"

MUDPIES...
I know I look strange,
but dig right in,
The flowers are fake,
but the dirt is cake,
I don't kneed water
or tender loving care.
Just eat my dirt,
till the pail is bare.

Here are a few great reciepes:

MUD PIE

1/2 stick butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
3 1/2 c. milk
2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
20 oz. Oreos, crushed
Cream butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar together. Add milk to the instant pudding and mix. Put 1/3 crumbled cookies in bottom of pot then 1/2 pudding mixture. 1/3 Oreos, rest of pudding mixture, put remaining Oreos on top for dirt. Refrigerate overnight. Just before serving, decorate with flowers and worms (jellied). Oreos crumble best in food processor.

DIRT CAKE

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 to 1 c. powdered sugar, sifted
3 1/2 c. milk
2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkgs. instant vanilla pudding (other flavors may be used)
12 oz. frozen whipped topping, partially thawed
1 (7 inch) flower pot, or 10 sm. flower pots
1 (20 oz.) pkg. Oreos, crushed
Silk, plastic or real flowers for garnish
Gummy worms for garnish (optional)
Garden trowel for serving (optional)
In a medium size bowl, mix butter, cream cheese and sugar with a mixer. In a second medium bowl, mix the milk and pudding. Add the whipped topping to the pudding mixture; combine the two mixtures. Cover the bottom of each flower pot with a plastic lid, a piece of foil or a piece of plastic wrap. Start layering the cookie crumbs and the creamy mixture, making several layers of each, ending with Oreos on top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours. Before serving, plant the flowers and lay the gummy worms on the dirt, if desired. To serve, use a clean garden trowel or spoon. Serves 8 to 10.

COOKS NOTES: If using a plastic flower pot, be sure to wash with soapy water. If using a clay pot, rinse with clear water and wipe dry (soap will absorb into the clay and the flavor will remain. To sterilize the clay pot, place it in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. When using fresh flowers, wrap the stems in plastic wrap before placing them in the cake.

Using long-stemmed flowers will make the cake all the more impressive when serving.

Scrape the centers of the Oreos before crushing. That makes the crumbs finer, and keeps the white particles from showing in the dirt. Or you can use a blender instead of a rolling pin to crush the cookie; the white centers disappear.

A few gummy worms in the dirt are thought great treats at children's parties.

For the beach party look, use vanilla wafers in place of the Oreos and place in a plastic sand bucket with a plastic shovel for serving.

Vanilla pudding with vanilla pudding.

Chocolate pudding with Oreos.

Last night was a huge Grand Opening of Lakeside Dolls in Calvins Creek. HUGE amounts of money was given away.. It kicked off with the first 10 sims in the door at 8pm est got 1k, from there it rolled into all kinds of events and contests.
Of course... I could not miss the Miss Exotic Contest.. all the ladies dressed up in cool. sex, outfits and head to the dance floor. Each lady had a tip jar for the guys to dump all their money into.. LOL... The ladies boogied their butts off as the men drooled. Talk about "31 Flavors" we had: a nurse, a policewoman, a maid, bare it all bikini girls, women with tool belts and more! OOooo and I can't forget to mention.. one of the hotest contestants: Wink Woolery, sporting a slinky pink dress! YES.. it was the first time Jen was freaked by a guy in a slinky pink dress..and she was Lovin it! Oooo and we must not forget Melisssa Ann Nicks.. who was giving me HOT kisses..(she was going for the gusto tips from the guys, with the *lookie* here BOYZ). Dang.. don't all guys love when girls kiss??? Didn't I see that on Jerry Springer?? LOL..
The prize money was OVER 30K! 2 ladies were crowned Miss Exotic Lakeside Doll: Tiarah & Rayuv Hope. The ladies split the jackpot and got their tips...
I stayed around as long as possible.. but I wasn't feeling so great.. so I didn't stick around to see the "dance till you drop" contest.. but I am sure it was terrific.
IF you are looking for a great place to meet new friends or host a party.. Please contact: Tina Bartender in Clavins Creek.
Tina Bartender the owner of Lakeside Dolls and her roomies really did a great job decorating the club. There is several buffets *free* that either lead you to an open patio to dine at or dine close to the dance floor. They have top knotch amenties... beds, bath area.. etc.

2:22PM - Adding My Journal To My Website

Hi,
Beens super busy the last few days.. working on my new DJ website page. I started this journal a few weeks ago but I just haven't had a moment to start journaling, UNTIL NOW :)
I just recently was hired at WSIM Radio. I am so excited. I will be djing late nights. My program is: Midnight Snacks with DJ Bryleigh. All the songs and artist have something to do with "FOOD".
I will be doing my first WSIM broadcast thisTuesday night 12am to Wednesday 1am.. I am so so excited. Jen and Merk set my system up last night for broadcast.. I still get butterflies when I start a "new" job.. so I am sure I will have to ask a few more questions before I broadcast. All seems to be going good so far.. *knocks on wood*
I was very lucky the other night I got to hang out with DJMerk and DJ Housen. I logged in to listen to the music on WSIM. We had a great time.. Dj Housen was djing and DJ Merk was "hamming" it up on his web cam. OOOO the ladies loved it.. and did you know that DJ Merk has a tatoo.. hee hee.. to funny.. he was sporting it for all the ladies to see. OOoo but his best feature is his smile!
I can see we are gonna have a great time together.. Everyone seems super cool and eager to get me started..
Thanks everyone !!
Peace, Bry
