Dear Future Readers –
Hello, my name is Rachel and I would be delighted to add you as a friend. I am a sixteen recovering anorectic whom listens to a variety of music and loves to write. I am fascinated by psychology and love to read Sylvia Plath. When not wandering around Manhattan I can often be found by my computer, typing poems, listening to bands such as Hole or Siouxise and the Banshees.
“Perhaps”, said the author, peaking through the Plexiglas screen, “I’ll remain justified Through just another sonnet An ode to the shortcomings of spring” And how she’d laugh at the disjointed words Aligned on the typewriter’s rusty screen The vanilla moon shined over her shoulder As she fell straight into the April myth Washing the rain with her fingertips And bringing light to each reader she pleased |
