The longer I spend at UD, the more I realize that there's really nowhere else I'd rather be than with my family. Not just my mom and dad and brothers, but my whole family. They're different, my mom's family is more like "Let's get together and have a party" but my dad's family is more like "Let's get together for a nice meal and conversation," but I like them both.
My mom's family had game night tonight. I beat Kevin and my uncles Joe and Dave at pool, though it was really luck. And we played LCR and some card games, and I learned how to balance a stack of poker chips on my elbow then snap my hand down really fast and catch them. It takes skill, you should see me. I can do six at once, those big, thick, heavy ceramic poker chips. And we won prizes, and there was much food, as always is with this family (and on a Friday in Lent, too, when none of us Catholics could eat meat).
That's why I'm a little upset that we're going away over Easter. I want to stay home and go to Gramma's house and whoever's having Easter in dad's family. But I saw them tonight, so I guess it's maybe okay.
I've been on a Maple Story binge for the past two days. I'm finally able to kill those stupid Bubblings in the subway, so I can finish a few quests. w00t.
