Going through old Blurty entries, compiling quotes for another update to the quote site (yey), and I was amused by this one:

Kachisu Wan: Not so fast kaiba
DigiLightstar: >_>
DigiLightstar: Meant to hit Alt-Tab.
DigiLightstar: Hit Alt-F4.
Kachisu Wan: prawned
DigiLightstar: Shut up. <_<
Kachisu Wan: How the hell do you miss by that large of a margin?

XD How did I miss by that large of a margin?

Hmm, I think it may be time to go to bed soon. Except that I have absolutely no homework to do tomorrow. w00t. I finished that irritating program this afternoon, and my Calc test isn't till Tuesday, and I'll have plenty of time on Tuesday to study for the Programming midterm on Wednesday. So, free day tomorrow. w00. I intend to update the quote site and work on a few other random projects.

More Dream Oddness [05 Mar 2006 | duel start @ 10:35am]
[ mood | amused ]
[ music | Song in my head, don't know the name, maybe an Okui Masami? ]

Wow. Extremely odd entry ahead.

Just woke up from a really odd dream and I want to get it down before I forget everything.

I remember one partreally distinctly at the end. It was me and Ken from Digimon. We were standing at an edge, kinda like a cliff face or something. It looked like an observation point, because there was a big waterfall facing this edge that we were on. There was a railing, not anything big, just iron bars, and Ken, for some reason, was on the other side of the bars (There was maybe a foot and a half of ground on the other side of the railing, before it dropped off.)

I think maybe he was there before I came, or something, because I can remember being inside his thoughts for a while. There was something on the other side of the railing that he had to do, something that pertained to his past. I thihk there were holes in the ground on that side of the railing, part of a plot that he had been involved in as the Digimon Emperor, or something like that. (Yeah, this is sketchy.) But he decided that, since he was one of the "good guys" now, that he was going to put his past behind him, and he started to hammer some nails into the boards that were covering the holes.

Then, after I got there, there were two other people there, a mom and a little boy. The boy had somehow climbed over the railing and his mom kept telling him to come back, but he wouldn't. So Ken went over and picked him up and moved him away from the edge, then went back to his work.

Here's the weird part. I got there, and I knew that Ken was going to fall off. I felt like this was a scene that I had seen on the Digimon TV show, and I had seen him fall over the edge in that scene, and so I knew that he was going to fall now. After wondering whether I should do something or whether I shouldn't mess with it, since it was a scene in the TV show, I told him, but he wouldn't come back over the railing. He just smiled and told me he'd be careful. I don't know if he fell or not, I think I woke up after this part.

I only remember pieces of the part before that one, but it was possibly the weirdest dream I've ever had. There was a large blue monster who was atempting a hostile takeover of the world. I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was Obelisk. And now I can't remember exactly who my companion was, it could have been Ken again, but I think it was probably Seto, keeping with the Obelisk theme.

So Obelisk was trying to enslave humanity, and he already had a bunch of people who were willingly following him, and a lot more who were too scared to not do what he said. Picture a Countdown-to-Destruction-type scene, where Astronema and Ecliptor were standing on top of that huge building and the Quantrons were going around destroying stuff, except that instead of Quantrons and Pirhanatrons doing her bidding, it was people doing whatever Obelisk had told them to do. (I think they were building something, don't remember what.)

So, here were Seto and I, the sole resistance against this abomination. (XD) I had a small object that I was holding. It looked almost like a tiny figurine of Obelisk, but it had a rainbow running across the back. And I knew that somehow, this little thing could bring Obelisk down. I have no idea how; I think I may have got the figurine from Obelisk himself, but I don't remember that far back in the dream. While Seto and I were trying to convince people to resist this evil and unjust rule, I remember looking up at the sky and seeing a bunch of little colored dots, buzzing around way up high. I have no idea what the dots were, but I remember thinking, "That's what he's going to do, he's going to line up all the colors!" Apparently, this would have been a bad thing, because I then realized that that was how my little action figure was going to stop him; I was going to use the rainbow on the back to disrupt the colors in the sky.

Here's the thing. Last night, while going through old Blurty entries looking for quotes, I ran across the entry where I wrote about the Kamui dream. I read it again, marveling at how entertaining my subconscious can be, and I read about how there were five colors of markers when I wrote on the wall, and how after I woke up, I thought that it was because I had been playing RuneScape before I went to bed that night, and there were five colors of paint that I had to use for the Christmas quest. Well, there were five colors in the sky this time. >D

I don't know if we ever defeated Obelisk, the dream skipped to the scene with Ken right after I realized what the purpose of my little rainbow thingie was. My dreams are anti-climatic like that.

You know, that's interesting. Things hardly ever end in my dreams. I never saw if Ken fell over the edge, and I don't know what happened with Obelisk. I didn't see the end of the Kamui dream; I have no idea if I was able to put a halt to his evil ways. In fact, in the small number of dreams that I can remember right now, I don't think anything ever really "ended." I got just enough information to figure out what was happening, and then either the dream changed or I woke up.

...Or maybe not. Maybe my dreams show me how they're going to end, and then don't spend time actually playing out that ending. Maybe Ken didn't fall because I warned him, and Obelisk was stopped because I figured out how. Hmm. There's a lesson there, but it's too early and I need to go back to bed because I was up too late last night. >_>

There was a part before all this, but it's really fuzzy because it was so early in the dream. I think it was the beginning of the Obelisk-takes-over-the-world part. My uncle Joe was there, the one I work for, and his family was there, and I think my family too. I think they were moving into a new house, which is probable for me to dream about because they did just move, a few years ago.

Gah. I don't remember enough of this part. Their new house was weird. The house itself was big, but the rooms were small. The whole thing reminded me of a McDonald's playland, where you crawl around in the tubes, except the tubes were hallways and the whole place was big enough so that someone older than eight could fit in there. And I remember there was something bad going on, something involving a dog or dogs, but me and my brothers and cousins put a stop to it somehow.

Wow. My subconscious is a scary place. XDD

A very long quiz. [05 Mar 2006 | duel start @ 02:48pm]

[ music | Hadaka ~ WaT ]

w33, my download of the new WaT album finished, and it's pretty.

Re-took an old quiz. Behind a cut because my layout will probably mess it up. ) Interesting to see how some of my results have changed from last time.

Back to work on quotes page!!

White Dragon!! [05 Mar 2006 | duel start @ 04:06pm]
[ mood | accomplished ]
[ music | Gemini ~ Matsumoto Rica (Bakura) & Nakao Yuki (Mana) ]

Ph33r me, for I have summoned my Blue-Eyes White Dragon on my very first turn. :D And won the duel with a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, boosted to 5000 attack. I love my deck.

And Kaibaman was actually useful this time!! w00t. It's only a two-card combo, so it should be easier to pull off than it has been. Kaiser Seahorse is a bit tougher, since he has to survive a turn before Tributing. The ritual is nice, although it takes a few cards. ...Well, maybe not. All I need is a Manju and either the Paladin or the Ritual card. Or, if I get the Paladin and the Ritual card, another monster to sacrifice.

Gah. Quotes are waiting to be updated.

Also, for my future reference: Hagaren fanart. Yes.
