Good ~ Hagaren: Conquerer of Shambala |

*bows* See, Yossy, I told you all those "spam entries" would come in handy. And I don't spam my own journal. XP
Fame, indeed. XDD I wonder how long I can keep it?
I hath finally stopped being a lazy fan and have downloaded the Hagaren movie, with subtitle file!! w00t. Just watched the first half. It's not bad. The first half-hour or so is a bit slow, but it picks up. And cosplay!Al is SO. ADORABLE. But you already knew that. <3 I just want to hug him. I don't think a kid can get cuter than that, save for Mokuba. And even he'd have a tough time.
( ...Okay, I must have lost all my cosplay!Al pictures when my hard drive crashed (;_;), but here's a HOMG HOT Ed fanart to make up for it. )
Interview went fine, I think. Not spectacular, but I did alright. Then, while I was changing out of my three-inch-heel boots that I walked all over creation in (ouch), the cap of my apple juice somehow came off and it spilled in my backpack. >_> I washed the backpack in the sink and dried it in the sun, it should be alright after a little Febreeze. But I now have a bunch of Physics and Calculus notes with apple juice stains on the paper, and they probably smell like apple juice, too. I think I'll probably make copies, if it doesn't cost too much, and then just throw the stained ones away. <_< Argh. A little bit of juice got on the corner of my Yuugiou Millennium World #2. ;_; That had better dry flat.
So now I have a lab report to finish, two programs to write (one C++ and one COBOL, yuck), and two tests to study for. o_o I wanna go home. But I don't want it to be summer, because I don't want to go back to work. >_<
Despite all this, I am excited to see the rest of the Hagaren movie. Shall probably try to make myself do some homework before I watch the rest, though.
Girl Scout cookies are good.

Good ~ Hagaren: Conqueror of Shambala |

"People who attend religious services weekly or more are happier (43% very happy) than those who attend monthly or less (31%); or seldom or never (26%). This correlation between happiness and frequency of church attendance has been a consistent finding in the General Social Surveys taken over the years.
"The same pattern applies within all major religious denominations. For example, 38% of all Catholics who attend church weekly or more report being very happy, while just 28% of Catholics who attend church less often say they are very happy. The survey also finds that white evangelical Protestants (43%) are more likely than white mainline Protestants (33%) to report being very happy, but this difference goes away after taking frequency of church attendance into account."
~ Pew Research Center Study: Are We Happy Yet?
This is quite curious indeed.

Lost Heaven (Hagaren movie closing theme) ~ L'Arc~en~Ciel |

Hn. It was good, but it wasn't great.
( Hagaren movie spoilers. )
So, I grudgingly admit that it was good, though it did not completely satisfy me. It has the typical Hagaren flavor of making a tough kind of sense. I'd rather have seen everyone living happily ever after, but this makes sense in a sort of philosophical, high-ideals kind of way. I shall be watching it again, if for nothing other than Al's adorableness and Roy's awesomeness.
In summary? What was there was good, but there could have been more.
Expect a huge screencap post within an hour or so.
