So, after not being able to get into lj last night, I discovered it was because I had accidentally set my computer's date to March. >_> I need to get an actual calendar, rather than just looking at the one in the system tray.
It seems that I have finally managed to hit the easy button. My Calc test today was ridiculously simple. Not that I'm complaining, not at all. But they were basically duplicates of the problems we did in class. I'll be surprised if I get below a 95%. w00

( You know, people can be really stupid sometimes. )
That being said, I haven't decided what side of this issue I'm on. The cartoonists and newspapers definitely broke at least standards of common decency or something like that in printing images of Muhammad, especially the ones that depicted him as a terrorist. (Which he isn't. He was an advocate of peace in his life. Sadly, some of his followers lost that concept through the years.) But killing people because of it is absolutely not the correct response. It's funny how some of the least tolerant people in the world demand such a high degree of tolerance from others. In violently reacting to the cartoons, they're exercising the exact same free speech that they're denying the cartoonists.
Finally, a night without homework. I don't think I have a single thing due until Monday, though I will have to read over some lab notes before my lab on Thursday morning. Life is good again.
So, in this abundance of free time, I am giving my Skyport a much-needed makeover. I'm not changing the basic design, only tweaking the colors and replacing that ugly banner across the top. Will probably attempt to re-make my Crest image too, though that will be a pain in the arse. None of it is actually uploaded yet, but I think I'll be done soon.
Am also going home this weekend. w00t. Hello, super-fast torrenting. <3 Though I do go home for more reasons than the non-sucky intarweb connection, you know.
...I wonder if the next Duelist will be out by the time I get home?
