Gah, I love Zero Two. I still don't understand how I went from hating Davis to absolutely loving him, but it probably has something to do with the second-to-last episode. And Oikawa dying makes me cry like a baby. ;_;
I think I'm going to start downloading the fansubbed Digimon from Wolf Pack Productions. For all I whine about the Yuugiou dub, and for all the cringing I do at various aspects of the Digimon dub (though I still love it, don't get me wrong, I'm not nearly as much of a purist about Digimon as I am about Yuugiou, and I don't think there are that many fundamental differences anyway), I ought to at least see a few episodes of the Japanese version of Digimon, for comparison's sake. And because Yamato's voice is hot. And did I mention I love Ken? It's really too bad these kids are supposed to be eleven years old. Although a certain few look much older than that.
Also, I now completely understand why people love to slash Daisuke and Ken so much. Could you be any more obvious, boys? Geez. You know, except for the fact that they both end up married with kids, but who believes the Zero Two ending anyway? Matt, an astronaut? Are you kidding me? He's gonna be a rock star. And Cody, a lawyer? ...Actually, that one almost kinda fits, but I can't ever see him defending a client whom he even suspects might be guilty. Which is sorta part of a lawyer's job, at least every once in a while. And Izzy and his daughter are l33t h4x0rs.
Even amidst all the corniness, slightly-irritating-at-times voice acting, and lines sappy enough to make you gag, it's still an awesome ending to an awesome series.
