Aloha..
Hawaii, huh? I never thought i'd be sitting here on the beach, on the warm white sand, staring at the crystal blue ocean. This is a definate change from L.A., that's for sure, but so far it's a good change. I needed to get out of there, it wasn't fair putting myself through that shit everyday. I don't want to let my thoughts drift back to those times, so let's keep positive. The island needed a good hair dresser, and now they have me. I'm starting tomorrow at the salon, so I'll let you know how my first day went. I'm a bit nervous just because it's so unfamiliar to me here. I'll get used to it. It's much quieter and private here, I like that. I haven't actually met or talked to anyone, save for the taxi cab driver who dropped me off at the place I was staying. And then I talked to someone to find where I was staying. I'm feeling a bit anti-social at the moment, but I suppose I'll go for a walk around town later. Maybe I'll take a nap before, I'm a little tired, long plane rides are hard on you. I'll write some more later when I get home. I need to explore some.
