I didn't take a camera with me, but my fellow travellers have started emailing me pictures of the trip. Please take a look at my Facebook Photo Album. Actually, I'd encourage all of you to join Facebook, but take note of Sam's wise words on being a Christian there.
Anyway, here is a selection of my photos. These three are from the orphan care program at Namatete CCAP, (which is Colin M'Bawa's church, and the one at which I preached.)
This is a picture of me surrounded by orphans. Namatete CCAP runs an orphan care program every Saturday, which a few hundred kids attend. They all love having their picture taken.
They come for Bible lessons, taught by some very dedicated teachers. The kids really like singing, and I sang "Jesus loves me, this I know" to a class of little ones. The knitted jumpers you see in the picture were made from wool sent over from Australia last year.
After their lessons, the children are given lunch. For many of them, this will be their only meal for the day, and they manage to eat a lot. The staple food in Malawi is nsima, or maize. I had a go at stirring the pot, but found it very difficult.
