It's official - I received my Supervised Field Education appointment today, and I have been placed with Rev. Douglas Robertson at Scots Church, Melbourne.
This means Scots will be my home next year - both morning and evening congregations. The appointment involves 200 hours of ministry work and follow-up (critique and reflection) from February to November. (If you do the maths, that works out to 5 hours a week.)
The letter informing me of all this said that in making this decision they considered geography, experience, needs, interests and reports. The mind boggles.
