Today I found I had an aptitude of which I had no previous knowledge.
I went into the city to help out at the book-stall PTC Media were having at the General Assembly of Victoria. Then I discovered something: I'm a bit of a salesman!
It started out with a couple of throw-away lines tht actaully worked - e.g. "Do you know of anyone who would benefit from reading this book?" But I soon found myself warming to the whole thing. People just seemed to fall for my sales pitch!
Of course, I was greatly helped by the fact that most Presbyterian ministers are complete suckers when it comes to buying books...
Do you ever feel that coffee is taking over your life? I read this in MX this afternoon...
Matthew and I think about coffee when we're lying in bed. The night before we're like, "When we wake up we're going to have coffee, it's going to be great. I'm going to use the yellow cup."
