10:49PM - Books X

I read Honey for a Child's Heart while I was in Sydney. It's by Gladys Hunt, and it's about children and reading. Although it's not perfect, (she thinks the Narnia books are allegorical), I got a lot out of it.

Two things in particular: it prompted me to relfect further on the tone I would like my home to follow, if I ever had kids; and it pointed me in the direction of a few poems (some new, some long-forgotten) that I'll now look up on the web. I might post a couple of them here, actually.

Oh, and I watched 'David and Margaret at the Movies' tonight. Margaret used the word "discombobulating"...
