First, a few personal comments. I haven't had a blurty entry for a few days, because I've been at a camp. The Presbyterian Church of Victoria's Ministers' Family Camp, to be exact. I'm half-way through my two weeks holiday, so I'm generally relaxing, though I do have to prepare for a number of speaking engagements in the next week or so. Did you get that? "Speaking engagements". Doesn't that sound grandiose?
Anyway, for my poem today, I'm going for John Donne:
Wilt Thou forgive that sin where I begun,
Which was my sin, though it were done before?
Wilt Thou forgive that sin, through which I run,
And do run still, though still I do deplore?
When Thou hast done, Thou hast not done,
For I have more.
