"And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." (Luke 2:52) We don't tend to think much about what Jesus was like before He started His public ministry. After all, the Bible is very quiet on the subject. But it does say this - he was growing. He was developing in all areas of life. Intellectually, physically, spiritually, socially. That's right, Jesus learned more about God. He even came to trust and obey God better. Isn't that amazing? But it wasn't just when He was a youth - He was a "life-long learner". Hebrews 5:8 says that He "learned obedience" from the things that he suffered. Let's follow Him in this - let's make sure that we learn our lessons.
