Well, this is me speaking. I've always wanted to do this. Just speaking out my thoughts to untold millions. After all, what I think is very important. How I feel is crucial to the lives of everyone on this planet...
And obviously this is how everybody else feels as well. This is a very popular site. Everybody has a story to tell, an opinion to express, a secret to reveal, an argument to present or a thought to fire out into cyberspace. Oh, don't you just love the internet! What a marketplace of ideas we have created! What a library of opinions! What a tangled net of feelings!
It's rather arrogant, isn't it? Thinking that what I have to say is so important, that I need to tell the world. And yet, that's what I'm doing. In a moment I'm going to tell all my friends, urging them to have a look at what I've written. O tempora, O mores!
So why am I doing it? If something I say will help one person on their journey, then it is worthwhile. Yes, you will have to sift what I have to say to find the gold amidst the dross. You will have to dig deep to separate the wheat from the chaff. You will even have to put up with really bad mixed metaphors. But maybe something I write will be worth reading. So stay tuned. And so help me God.
