Baseball Equipment Reviews - Demarini CF3 and Easton Stealth Composite Baseball Bats Compared
Are you tired of the ping, ping, ping of aluminum bats? Many people have complained about the high pitched sound before. Well, there is good news for you because the 2008 baseball bats are made of a carbon reinforced composite material. So, instead of the ping of aluminum you hear more of a crack of thud when the ball hits the composite bats. It sounds more like a traditional wood bat. Now you can get the distance of a metal bat without the annoying sound.

As a baseball equipment retailer and, quite frankly a person who loves the game, we often get asked to pick the best bat. Rather than play favorites, the following is a review of two of what will be the best selling bats in the 2008 equipment line up.

New for 2008 the Demarini CF3 is making waves all over the college baseball world. The CF3 is Demarini first attempt at a composite baseball bat and they past the test with flying colors. The Demarini CF3 is the first double wall composite bat that has 2 walls acting independently of each other for maximum trampoline effect. This combined with the new clutch end cap give this bat the biggest sweet spot in the game and allows for maximum performance on off center hits.

The Easton Stealth Composite is new for 2008 and is Easton’s second attempt at a composite baseball bat. The new Easton Stealth Composite comes two different ways the regular flex (BCN7) and the stiff flex (BCN8). The difference between the 2 is the amount of flex in the opti-flex composite handle. The regular flex has 3 times more flex than aluminum handles and the stiff flex has 1.5 times more flex than aluminum handles.

Easton stealth bats second go around at a composite baseball bat is a huge improvement over the first. Last years version was very end weighted and a had a very heavy swing weight. In the new models Easton moved the kick point toward the handle giving this bat an incredible balanced feel.

Whether you choose the Demarini CF3 or the Easton BCN7, BCN8 baseball bats, you are swinging one of the hottest bats on the planet. So, keep you eyes and ears out for these new bats at a field near you.

    Exploring Xbox 360
The Xbox 360 system is a very popular video game nowadays and absolutely the most famous second video game offered by Microsoft. Perhaps you’ve been living away from civilization for the past years if you haven’t heard of the Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 was developed in cooperation with IBM, ATI, and SiS. The Xbox Live service incorporated in it allows users to compete online and download content like game demos, trailers, arcade games and many more.

There are in fact a few different configurations of the Xbox 360 available, including the Xbox 360 Core which was an entry level Xbox 360 that was later replaced by the Arcade. There is also the Premium or Pro which includes all of the features of the Core and includes a hybrid composite and component cable with optional optical cut instead of a composite cable.

    Games

This video game has a multitude of tremendous games that made it interesting to users. There are apparently hundreds of different games for you to choose from, and this includes Absolute: Blazing Infinity, America’s Army: True Soldiers, Amped 3, APB, Armored Core 4, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Big Bumpin’, Bionic Commando, Bionicle Heroes, BioShock, and Beijing 2008, just to name a few.

Xbox 360 is one of the most popular and interesting video game consoles today, and so if you are fascinated in getting a video game for yourself, the Xbox 360 is one that you should include in your list.

Xbox 360 is readily available in the Xbox Company and to retailers out there that offer Microsoft products. The prices are continuously dropping on video game consoles, so make sure to keep watch of the lowest possible price if you’re interested to have one.

Xbox 360 is a very easy game to use and is extensively available everywhere.
Just make sure that you check into the details if you decide to go somewhere to buy the game used, because of course if you are buying it used you can never really be sure of the condition it is in.

It is not bad to purchase a used one but just the same be aware of the return or refund policy.

    Archery Kids

Ordered this archery set for my six year old son after he expressed interest a couple times in wanting to shoot my compound bow- which he's just a wee bit small to handle. He's not a very big kid for his age- and this junior bow is probably a bit big for him- but he's determined enough in keeping up with dad and with a litt instruction (not much) he's got it down pretty well. As his skill level improves- I hope the next door neighbor lady's cat stays off the top of the fence. Archery hunting crossbow

    Really inconspicuous Earring

These earrings are too small and thin to do justice to the unique design. For the same reason they are stiff and do not dangle like one would expect looking at the picture. On the other hand the diamond quality is pretty decent for the price but will only glitter with enough sunlight and not indoors. I got them during the black diamond sale for about $100 but subsiquently returned them for a refund.

Action replay max: Just what we hoped for
My son had his eye on this product for a long time. I resisted, arguing that loading cheats onto your game seems counterproductive. Isn't part of the fun and satisfaction of playing knowing that you figured things out on your own? Obviously, I don't fully understand the frustrations of Pokemon. He came up with his own money and I ordered the Action Replay for him. He is 100% satisfied and has had absolutely no troubles with using it. From a mom's perspective, I don't really "get it", but he was so happy to be able to catch "shiny Pokemon". I'm just glad it did what it was supposed to do, easily, the way it was supposed to. wholesale video games

the cheap psp 3000 is great dont listen to negative reviews i have the original 1000 model and now the 3000, and no you don't see (Scanlines or anything of that nature), and yes i have played games that have fast moving objects/visuals(Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Street Figter, Crazy Taxi, ect) , and all you see is brighter colors and feel tighter controls. I am a gamer, not an average person who wouldn't know any better, upgrade your unit or wrap it up for someone on christmas time you wont regret it,! So in closings brighter colors, tighter controls and smaller on the hands = great handheld enjoy!

what else beside BUY ONE needs to be said
Maybe the fact they you really should not pay more then $250 for a new one unless it is a bundle package. You can find them at Target, Toys R Us, K-Mart and Walmart if you keep checking. I attemtped to buy one from a lesser known market with terrbile results and recommend sticking to known retailers.

This system is EASY to install and set up. We had the wii up and running in 15 minutes. wii Sports is usually included with the console so you don't have to go out and buy a video game to start. This game gets you active and is a great introduction to how the sytem works. Most reviewers have already detailed the inner workings so I will just add that whoever thought this sytem up was a genuis!! The interaction between the controls and the video game are amazing. This system beats any other in my view. The potential for wii is mind boggling although they have been a little a slow in output lately. Hmmmm. I will sit in anticipation of what they will think up next. I do have my eyes on a wii Fit but wonder what lies ahead.......

There are great resources (including Amazon) to research the best games to suit your interests. I recommend checking reviews, renting them or checking at your local library before buying since they can be pretty expensive.

    PS3/360 Objective Comparison
    Reliability:
I own a video game store. One of the services that we provide is various repairs on most game consoles. In the last year, I have performed around 60 individual XBOX 360 repairs compared to 0 (zero) PS3 repairs. PS3 Wins Hands Down

    Compatability:
The 60GB version of the PS3 is FULLY backwards compatible with PS2 and most PS 1 games. The new cheap ps3 80GB version has some limited backwards compatability. The 40GB version has no backwards compatability. All versions of the 360 (Arcade, Pro and Elite) have the same limited backwards compatability. At least PS3 has a version that is fully backwards compatable. PS3 WINS

    Value:
The new 80GB version of the PS3 retails for $399.00. This includes an 80GB hard drive (obviously), built in Bluetooth, and built in WIFI. Oh and lets not forget that the DVD player in the PS3 will play all of your regular AND Blu-Ray DVDs. The xbox360 for sale cost 360 is the Arcade version that retails for around $199. This version does not come with a hard drive which will cost you around $100 for 60GB, nor does it have built in WIFI. The WIFI adapter retails for around $100 also. So for $399 you essentially get 20GB less storage...oh and NO BLU RAY!!! PS3 WINS

    Game Selection:
Let's say that most games nowadays are released on both PS3 and 360, but there are some titles that are exclusive to each. Some of the hotest exclusive titles are:

PS3 - Metal Gear Solid, SOCOM, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2
360 - Fable II, Gears of War 2 and of course Halo 3

Overall, since the 360 has been around for a few more years, there are more titles available, but some of the most popular like BioShock have been ported over now to the PS3...most of the others will follow suit (except Halo which will probably always be a 360 only title). 360 WINS (but not for very much longer)

So of the 3 main decision points as to which console to purchase. PS3 scored 3 out of 4 to the 360's score of 1 out of 4.

Let me also say that I make more money selling the 360 because of all of the periphery that you have to buy along with it (more margin in accessories) so I hope people continue to go in that direction. However, when viewed objectively, the PS3 is clearly the way to go.

wii fit price is increasing when closer to chirstmas. If you are about to buy wiifit for someone or christmas. I strongly suggest to buy it now. When crhistmas comes, you probably won't be able to find ones in stock or you can buy it double price from now.

    TaylorMade r7 Draw Irons 3-PW
Say goodbye to the right side of the golf course with this set of TaylorMade r7 Draw irons. The irons are distinguished by the company's Draw-Weighted Technology, which concentrates the weight in the back heel area, thereby encouraging a faster clubface rotation through impact to promote a right-to-left ball flight. The r7 Draw irons are specifically designed for players looking to gain extra distance by turning their chronic fades into draws, or who want to accommodate tough pin placements by hitting managed draws around water hazards, trees, or sand traps. The Draw-Weighted Technology works by moving the clubhead's center of gravity (CG) closer to the shaft. This speeds the rotation of the clubhead during the forward swing in the same way that a spinning figure skater speeds the rotation of her body by pulling her arms inward. As a result, the golfer has an easier time squaring the clubface at impact, thereby imparting either a draw spin or a reduced slice spin. The ultra-deep and wide cavity design also makes it easier to launch the ball higher for the optimal combination of carry and control.

In addition, the r7 Draw irons offer TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology, which boosts the COR to improve average ball speed and total distance. And golfers will love the wide, cambered soles, which discourage digging and encourage gliding. This makes it easier to hit the ball high and long from a variety of lies. Other details include a dampening web made of soft aluminum that soaks up vibration to promote a phenomenally soft feel at impact, and your choice of a RE*AX 55-gram, soft-tipped graphite shaft or a T-Step 90 steel shaft to promote a higher ball flight and longer carry. This full set of irons--3 through 9, along with a pitching wedge--carries a two-year warranty.

Getting The Angles Right On Your Putter
The loft and lie angle on your Putter needs to match your swing, posture and setup or you will be short of your best on the Putting Green. For the manufacturers it is the scientific business of degrees. The golf fanatics that are scientists and lab technicians have discovered that the most efficient loft on a putter is 4° at impact. When your ball comes to rest on the green it actually embeds itself slightly in the surface. Therefore, it stands to reason that a putter requires a bit of loft to launch the ball out of its ‘nest’ but then we are interested in forward roll as soon as possible. Too little loft and the ball will skid along and be easily diverted off line by any indentation. Too much and the ball will bounce along the patch. Both result in poor putting and a lot of frustration. But remember when checking lofts on Putters, your Putting style will impact what loft works best for you. If you tend to lean your hands forward when putting, then you will decrease the loft of the Putter face at impact, so you’ll need a loft greater than 4°. If you lean slightly backwards on the putt, you’ll increase loft at impact so maybe a little less than 4° is best for you. The standard lie angle of a putter is around 71°. Basically, the angle between the sole of the putter and the shaft is its lie angle. A very fine balance exists between lie angles. 1° too upright and the putter will actually become ‘draw biased’ (leeks left). 1° too flat and the putter becomes ‘fade biased’ (leeks right). Remember the posture on your Putting stroke will also influence what Lie Angle is best for you and that means a careful match between shaft length and your height. If you want to become a better putter, first eliminate any insecurity around your equipment. Poorly fitted technology has no sympathy, but good customisation definitely benefits you. Then make sure the technology in the Putter works for you. It’s true that often simply changing your putter will improve your game, but making sure you are properly fitted will sustain that improvement. Come into the shop and let me take a look at your putter. I’ll quickly tell you if your technology is holding you back. Make the ‘little big club’ the perfect club for you. Your local PGA Golf Professional will ensure you the correct fit on your putter.
