[ music | Bright Eyes - A Poetic Retelling of an Unfortunate Seduction ]

Someone tell me a non-radio band that I should check out, and your favorite song by them.

It's just something nice to see when I come back home. :)

[ music | Bif Naked - Daddy's Getting Married ]

Last night was pretty cool.

Lynne and Matt came down, and we went to Bickford's out of boredom. It was nice. I like going out to eat with friends and such. Then we went to K-mart, cuz we could. Lots of random "we need to get rid of this shit cuz the store is closing" things. Lynne took the booklet that came in the Tampax learner's kit (for little girls and such who don't know how to put one in). I got some shitty eyeliner, some black nailpolish TOPCOAT, lollipops, and Carebears stickers. Everything's cheap in there, and amazingly, it's all cheap too. Then we went to the video store and rented Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life". God, that movie is so odd...

I had a reallyreally nice night, though. :)

My dad's coming to get me around 1...so I should probably get offline soon. Hope you all have a nice rest-of-the-weekend! :)

[ music | Breaking Benjamin - Polyamorous ]

My day didn't end up being as I thought it would be...

Well, unreliable friends and a "hey don't waste your time coming for a job interview" phone call ruined my morning pretty much. I just kind of sat around in anger and frustration and decided to cut off my nails since they were getting long and pissing me off. Mom asked if I wanted to go prom dress searching and to stop off at the thrift store in Taunton Green, and I took up the offer. I found a dress I lovelovelove but I'm not exactly fond of the color. It's navy but I prefer purple or lilac. The dress was avalible in lilac but it would have to be ordered, etc. etc. Beautiful dress though, and the lady offered for 20% off the price. I have it on hold for a week as well. Hehe. I got a few things at St. Vincent's as well...

  • 2 Furby keychain McDonal'd toys I didn't have yet.

  • Edgar Allan Poe - The Fall of the House of Usher

  • Anne Rice - The Vampire Lestat

All for...$1.31. Hehe.

I'm really hungry...and I have no idea what's up for tonight either. Hopefully people won't disappoint me again today. I'm really sick of being let down...

(I feel the falling stars encircle me...)

Still sleepy. But add in the element of hungry, and there you have it. [13 Mar 2003|11:04pm]

[ music | Mindless Self Indulgence - Faggot (Ultrasex Version) ]

Dude, the drummer from Tiger Army was shot 4 times on Monday. He's alive though. I think I might take some time out and send him a card. (I suppose "Tiger Army Never Die!" comes in well here.)

I've been looking at prom dresses online. I'm obsessed with this one, except I wish it was in purple instead of blue, but eh. I'm gonna look at some places in Taunton Green probably sometime next week, and there's a place in Bridgewater, one in Brockton, and another in Canton I may look at eventually. I already know what I'm gonna do with my hair, so that's all set, just gotta set up an appointment for that sooner or later. I wanna get my makeup done professionally as well, and a manicure/pedicure, too. Not to mention shoes, jewelry, etc. God prom is so expensive...but I have many money sources now to help out with it, hehe.

I have no clue how tomorrow is gonna go, since I didn't really talk to Jeff or Justine. Umm...yeah...heh.

[ music | Sing the Sorrow, silly! ]

FUCK YEAH BITCHES! Happy Sing the Sorrow release day/311 Day! (for you 311 fans out there)

Yes, I am a happy little AFI fan today. (Yes I know I look like ultra-shit in that picture, but fuck you, I'm happy. ;P) I bought it at Circuit City for $6...(hint hint to those of you who wanna buy STS...it's probably one of the few weeks it'll be that price so go buy it. It's the same price at Target too.) I even wore one of my AFI shirts and my AFI necklace that came with the vinyl box set.

Now I have the lyrics, the pretty first-run silver cover CD art (I plan on buying the red version once I have another $6 to spare), and I'm very very content. I'm waiting til the CD ends on itself to hear the hidden tracks. Mmm. I find the cover art a tad boring though...I wish Alan Forbes' art was more of a presence like in AoD. *shrug* I'm fully content though. :)

But yes...my day went rather well. School went well. I've been getting very little homework these past few days...oh shit, nevermind, I need to study a bit for "A Tale of Two Cities" - Book II. Gym class was amusing. I really should excercise more, though. Bleh.

I brought my camera to school today, but really didn't take pictures, for the fact that a) I forgot, b) had no reason to, and c) didn't really care today. Though I did take these...

B-R quali-taaay. This is in the back right corner of Mr. Powers' room. I just thought I'd prove the crappiness of my school. Haha, tomorrow I should take pictures of the bathroom graffitti.

Ultra-closeup of mah face! Muahaha.

I was informed that my dad made me an appointment/check up for right after school today due to my wisdom tooth-related swelling. I was perscribed Amoxicillin (penicillin-like antibiotics for those who don't know), 30 500 mg pills, and I have to take them all. YUM. If the swelling doesn't go down in a week...I'm screwed. I'll have to get surgery AGAIN so they can fix what's wrong, so I'm HOPING it's an infection that goes away soonsoonsoon.

After that, dad took me to Circuit City where I made my lovely purchase of Sing the Sorrow, and stopped by Target and oogled at stuff (particularly makeup...specifically Jane, the cheap kind) that I didn't have the money for. I really want some new makeup soon...especially eye stuff! I did a horrible job with my makeup today (as I have been lately, ugh), and I saw this eyeshadow stuff that DOESN'T melt on you no matter what...and that'd be cool cuz my skin is evil and ABSORBS everything in minutes, I swear. Stupid skin, I hate you! *shakes fist* Then I got Taco Bell (my fute job? we'll see...) and they put a HELL of a lot of spicy sauce on my quesadilla and it made my mouth all burny and hot. Not cool. But then again, having one of their gallon-sized travel cups full of ice Sierra Mist to gulp down and put out the burning fire in my throat. (DOESN'T THAT SOUND SEXY, TEEHEE)

Oh yeah, I saw a guy with blue-green-bluishgreen dreads walking into CVS while I observed like the crazy bitch I am in the car listening to ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS haha it's funny cuz it's...not...hahaha him walking into the store with two other people. I was like, whoa, blue dreads, how cool is that when I'm waiting to get my drugs and hump my AFI CD.

...yes, I noticed the weird mood too. It's all giggly and such. BLAHAHA.

Random stupid question/thought of the day: Are outdoor soda vending machines emptied out in the winter, so the soda cans won't freeze up and explode, or do the machines have insulation where that couldn't happen to the soda? But I mean, they couldn't be heated, since no one wants to buy a warm soda...

(I feel the falling stars encircle me...)

Your sins into me, oh my beautiful one... [10 Mar 2003|09:04pm]

Sing the Sorrow - 3-11-03 - FUCK YEAH! Buy it tomorrow, bitches!

I read all of Chobits #2 in one sitting. I think I'm getting my anime/manga-lovingness back. Any of you that I know personally have any good tapes/DVDs/books I could borrow? (Trust me, I'm good with borrowing, I usually will get it back to you in like 2-3 days or whenever I'm done with it.) I can let you borrow what I have an such too...hehe :D

Random randomness of the moment: ...PANTYSHOTS!!!

Quoting yourself is fun:

gMocow (8:47:20 PM): heh... meat in the taco...heh
i like stupid (8:47:41 PM): Oh, if I work at Taco Bell, there will be PLENTY of that. ;)

i like stupid (8:52:17 PM): It's like those times...at 1 AM...when I'm all fidgety and watch my secret tape...
i like stupid (8:52:27 PM): ...the Care Bears Movie.

Hey...the swelling feels as though it's gone down a little bit...hmm...!

Oh yeah...MC Hammer was in the video we watched during driver's ed. Funny.

[ music | inQbus - NIN vs Aphex Twin - Perfect Daddy (inQbus mix) ]

I can't describe my day really. It felt like a non-Monday day. Weird.

I seem to have a nice infection on my lower right jaw, where one of my wisdom teeth was removed. I woke up last night in a lot of pain, konked myself out with some Tylenol PM, woke up 5 hours later extremely drowsy, felt as though I was half asleep all day with a nice swollen face (once again...but on one side...) and a bleeding gum, but I can't say my day sucked or anything. It was actually decent. Note to self and others: D'Angelos subs aren't worth the $3 on Monday. Alex told us an interesting story of how he shit his pants at the mall during health today. The amusement highlight of my day, really. Spun around with Justine during our break at Driver's Ed. Yep...

Then after school I dropped off 4 applications (Taco Bell, Wendy's, Wal*Mart, and Friendly's), and I have an interview on Friday afternoon for Taco Bell. YAY I MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE A JOB soon!!! They seemed rather understaffed at the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut, so chances are I'll definately have a place there for the time being. *does a little yay dance in chair*

Oh yeah, Justine and I might be doing something for the edible art contest next week. Yay! :)

I have very little homework tonight, for once!! Haha...maybe today isn't so bad after all...

*presses ice pack to face and plans on doing something useful now*

Ashley gave me an AFI article today. It made me moist. Ohhhoohhohhh...*JEOMK-s again* But it was a very nice picture...and article... *gets out a mop*

(I didn't get that excited...OR AT LEAST IT DIDN'T SHOW SO SHUSH.)

My toothbrush bracelet kept falling off today. I used tape to keep it on me. I told people about it. Yup.

I gave Chris those 2 painkillers I had left over just to get rid of them. Umm...yeah.

Matt should be here soon...yup...going to Charlie Horse with peopl later...maybe that show for a little bit too...*shrug*...

"Silver and Cold" is really good. As most of the songs on Sing the Sorrow are. Can't wait 'til Tuesday...EEEEEEEE!!! :D

I think I'm gonna post some pictures today or tomorrow, just cuz. WHAT A THRILL.

What follows... [06 Mar 2003|05:14pm]
[ mood | headachy ]
[ music | AFI - Girl's Not Grey ]

Jesus...do any of you out there get annoyed by people posting oodles of lyrics? Seriously...the least you could do is accompany it with a brief entry or something. Meh...but it's all your own journals so I should shut up. XP

Snow sucks. Ice is worse. My whole road was ice this morning. I hated it so much...due to me paranoia and fear of falling. I just inched my way up the street slowly. IT was even worse on the way back to my house. After school things were cancelled, so I didn't have Driver's Ed (suckage), and we were dismissed about 30-45 minutes early...and it took me about 20 minutes to walk up my street (it usually takes 7-10). I felt myself slipping about 5 times...it scared the shit out of me. ._.;

But yeah...I've been kinda irritable and blah for the majority of the day...and I really don't wanna do homework. *groan/whine* My eyes hurt...and I have a headache. I hate bad smells and florescent lighting. Ugh...

One good thing about today though was that a lot of people were amazed by the picture I drew for my English writing assignment. Yay, praise is fun! :)

Haha, I got ditched by my art class when I went to go pee and fill up my water bottle (not with my own pee, mind you), cuz I went back to the class and the lights were shut off and everyone was gone. I was like..."ummm...?" so I decided to wander the halls in search of my class, and I found 2 people who are in my class and just followed them. So I just had a study in the mods. Then bio class smelled like mold (GAH) and Dr. Chuckran filled in since Ms. Sargent wasn't there (neither was Mr. Phaneuf, cuz they're on the robotics team and they're in NH and yadda yadda yadda BLAH), and I learned more from him in 20 minutes than I've learned from Sargent the whole YEAR.

[quite some time later]

Lynne and I attempted to make toothbrush bracelets. We only got 3 out of 10 to work...all the rest broke on us. It was good fun though. They still kinda came out weird. I suppose it's just something you get the hang of after awhile.

Yup...going to the Charlie Horse tomorrow. If anyone wants to go with us (being Matt and I), just talk to one of us and we'll figure out how it's gonna work out. I wanna have a big group going, dammit!

...and I should probably be getting around to finishing up my homework right about now...

[ music | AFI - Now The World (mastered) ]

Dull day. School was unexciting. 2 quizzes and 2 tests. Super fun yay. Didn't stay after for anything and went home on the bus for the first time in quite some time. Yup. Nothing exciting.

I'm getting some free stuff from The Used, since I'm going to the show and I'm on the street team. Huzzah!

The only exciting news of the day is that my school is gonna start carrying D'Angelos subs on Mondays and they're $3. Now when that's the only exciting news of the day, you know how boring and typical it is for me, haha. Wow...

I should get around to calling my dad soon. Hrm.

Sing the Sorrow in 1 week. Hell yes. A long awaited moment for me. :)

I need to go to a show soon...just anything...dammit. I think that show on Sunday would be nice, all depending if I'm gonna be around or not. I think I'm going to NH. I'm not sure. like I said, I need to call my dad soon...

My bracelets make my wrists itchy. I need to take them off.

...yes, I'm done now.

But yes, guess what?!

I GOT MY PERMIT WOOHOO YAY!!!!

Actually, it's not too much of a big deal to me, but eh. The RMV line took a long time to move, but I took my test and passed. Yay. I drove the car on my street on the way home from the supermarket...I almost hit my neighbor's cat, heh. Stupid Sammy-cat.

School wasn't all too exciting. I did make up my schedule for next year, though...

Yay, hopefully I'm accepted into Adv. D&P (surely I will be...I'm in D&P already and getting A's in it), and Comp. Science. I have no idea who I'll have for teachers, besides for Adv. D&P (Ms. Brown teaches that).

Doing my schedule though, I missed all the fun in square dancing during gym. Aww. We were the "lesbian" group too. ;P

Well, I shall probably get around to studying and finishing up my homework...and eating. I haven't ate anything all afternoon besides some watermelon Sour Patch Kids.

7. What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need? I'm not sure...

2. What did you do today that was really brave? Uhh...I'm not sure.
3. Who is your favorite superhero, and why? I'm not sure.
4. Would you put your life in danger to rescue someone? If I had that adrenaline rush sort of thing going, sure.
5. If you were to face the Wizard, would you want more courage, more brains, or more heart? Heart.
6. Have you ever gotten stage fright? Yes...I hate being up in front of people. I feel like I'm on display, and I hate that.
7. Do you consider yourself to be a leader or a follower? A little of both, maybe? More of a follower though...I'm too damn insecure.

JUSTICE
1. Have you ever been summoned for jury duty? No, I'm not old enough.
2. If they reinstituted the draft (for both genders), would you go, or would find some way out of it? I wouldn't want to go, unless it was to have something to do with computers or something, maybe.
3. Do you support capital punishment (the death penalty)? Yes. The world's overpopulated enough...I'm kind of in favor of the "eye for an eye" theory.
4. Which should be guaranteed legal? I'm not sure what is being referred to in this...
5. Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA? I don't think he is very smart, for war is just not a good solution to what is going on right now. It increases the risk of terrorism and would make the money situation worse. I don't think that means good things...

4. What area are you wisest in? I'm not sure. I think I can relate to a lot of things. I try to put in what I know at least. I can't speak for others because I'm not them, and I don't know EXACTLY how they feel...I hate that term..."I know exactly how you feel..."
5. Do you drive defensively? I haven't really started driving yet, so I'm not sure.
6. Have you ever had unprotected sex outside of marriage? No.

Teehee, 6 months, yay!

I spent the day with Matt. I went to his house, and we went out to eat at the Ninety Nine, and rented "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Pretty good movie. We just sat around all cute couple-y like and such. Then Matt put a tampon and iced tea and sucked on the tampon (it was clean, don't worry!). Hehe, I love him sososo much, and he's so special to me, and I looooove my Mattafer. :)

I commenced doing homework once I got home, after saying a long goodbye to Mattafer. I really half-assed my geometry, as I have been lately, and got about 2/3 of my English mini-project completed. Hurrah!

I need to upload pictures here sometime this week. I think I'll recharge my batteries tomorrow afternoon, after I get my permit! HUZZAH!

...but now, I am thristy, and much quench my thirst! *scurries off to the kitchen, to see what meager pickings are left to be drunk*

Yesterday was cool. Lynne, Matt, and I made the green with vanilla and chocolate frosting cake called "racism". It was yummy. :9

I went to the Museum of Science last night with Matt, Ben, and Jesus to see Laser Schism, which was this laser show with Tool music. We got there a little early, so we looked through the museum gift shop. I bought astronaut ice cream for the hell of it. It was like eating neopolitan styrofoam. Jesus liked it though. Then we saw the show, which was really cool, and got Dippin' Dots. Dippin' Dots is GODLY...I wish it was sold in stores. :( Then I went to my dad's house...and straight to bed.

Yay, today is Matt and I's 6 month anniversary! :D

Ugh...cramps...

I just uploaded myself an icon I made rather quickly and made my journal a little better looking than it was before. I still want to have a better background and such sooner or later.

Yeah. House party last night. It was just like the last 2 parties...heh. Not many people were there, though. Only like 20 people or so. I was very horny and stoned. Yup...I was wicked scared when I was stoned too (we got stoned over Michelle's...Matt, Lynne, Michelle, and I), cuz I had never been that stoned before. Hydro is powerful shit. o.O Yeah...came home about 11. Did stuff. Slept.

Yup.

I woke up this morning, took a shower, and realized that there was an envelop with my new social security card in it. I might suggest to my mom to go out and get my permit today, or maybe on Monday or something, since I don't have driver's ed. on Monday. Yup...so it looks like I'll be getting my license in September now instead of August. *shrug* Such is life.

As for today, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. Hopefully I can sell my Good Charlotte CD to Matt's sister (it's the old cover with the original 5 members on it...I'm getting $20 for it, so hey, why pass that up?), I remember last night that Matt and Lynne both owe me $18 for the tickets I bought them for The Used/Thrice show at Lupo's in April, and I still wanna sell my painkillers off. Not to mention I have $50. I'm probably gonna save my money 'til "Sing the Sorrow" comes out on the 11th, or leave like $25 for the special edition coming out later this month. I also wanna buy the 2nd Chobits manga...I got addicted by buying the first one. :x

Now that I have my social security card...I might put in my job applications. I kinda wanted to wait after driver's ed was over though to do that. Another 4-5 weeks. *shrug*

I still wanna go to this show at Lupo's:
Friday, March 14
C K Y
ATREYU
MEMENTO
Doors: 8 pm
Show: 9 pm
Tickets: $12

and this show at Avalon:
FINCH
w/ Snap Case
Friday, April 25 at 7:00PM
Doors at 6:00PM
Tickets $13.75
This is an all ages show

I remembered that yesterday I randomly had Thrid Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life" in my head. I listened to the CD on the way to school because of that. Good stuff. I remember I used to LOVELOVELOVE that song when it came out. (Yes...all I listened to was like pop radio at that point...but hey I was like 10 or so...so hush.)

Yeah, I should probably post this now and stop rambling.
