I THINK MY STAFF'S MORALE IS TOTALLY CRUSHED..
i think my SM is really driving everyone up the wall... one of
my staff who is really mild with no temper and neva talk back to
bosses actually said the following when he was asked by my SM
why didnt he file our videos properly etc etc.... he is one of our
corporate support staff...
i think bosses need to understand that diff ppl have diff working
style and capabilities.. he is not the most capable one in the lot
but he is hardworking ... so far whatever i get him to do he does
it well... the only thing is he is the type that needs step by step
instructions... and my SM likes to make assumptions.... and takes
for granted that the whole world noe wat she is thinking...
i think he super buay tahan already....his replies to my SM in 2
separate emails...
"So sorry. Maybe I was stupid to understand what you mean
by this. The tapes do not have any serial number by itself. Do
you mean to create serial number myself? I beg you please
forgive me for my stupidness if you think I am. Thanks."
"Okay. Noted about the Video/DVD Archives system. Thanks.
Hope you understand not that i do not want to label the dvd/video
properly. We also got other duties to handle plus we not doing
nothing in office plus it take time to label the stuff properly- not
that easy as you think. As for the Dtss animation, we cant read
the file how to know it is the dtss animation dvd plus the dvd cover
stated the title "dtss source file" Maybe i am stupid not to know
what is inside the dvd when i cant read the file. so sad. Thanks."
my SM did not give any instructions abt labelling, serial numbers
etc for the longest... and now that she cant find the things she
wants .... she finds a scapegoat.... i think his morale is totally
crushed... until i was told he took halfday today... i jus smsed him
to ask if he was alright... he said he needed to get away from all
that stress my SM is giving him.... sigh~~
anyway i kenna her pattern jus now when i was with her and the
film dir at NUS to meet a prof....
SM: i think we will reach nus early... we can go have a drink
missy dawnut: okie so we go to the science canteen?
SM: ok
(after the drink... missy dawnut tried to navigate her way to the
medical block where the prof is....since it was still raining, she
tried to find linkways so that all wont get wet.... but pls remember
her "HQ" was FASS which is on the other side of the campus..
although it wasnt very straightforward she managed to locate the
place after a while)
SM: you should have asked the bus to drop us here
missy dawnut: but u said u wanted to have a drink
SM: dorothy (the prof's PA) said that there is a drinks place at their
block..
missy dawnut: u didnt tell me and on the map she gave the most
distinct food place was The Frontier aka science canteen..
anyway when we went to the block we saw totally no makan place
watsoever in sight except for lotsa constructions... i think she should
jus keep quiet unless she noes the way...duh...
on another note... it has been a long time since i went back to nus..
had claypot chicken rice at the science canteen for $2.50! so cheap..
i really miss uni life...
