THE PERFECT ONE~~ while window shopping earlier (yes i m very disciplined!) i chanced upon (what I thought is) the perfect engagement ring... i think it looked elegant and less common than the solitaire.. though i think it could cost a good 5 digit sum, i would love to wear it on my finger if i ever get married... and it would def be a piece that i can hand down to my daughter if i have one...
looking at the women ard me, i realise that not many of them wear their engagement rings... i know some dun have the habit or dun particularly like wearing rings... the rest i m not too sure... but those that do wear them obviously like wearing rings and often the rocks stick out quite prominently on their finger... if u still dun get it .. it means the rock is BIG..
i like to wear rings too and would def wear my engagement ring to show off ... :p
BUT if it is inconspicuously tiny... i think i will leave it to be displayed in the jewellery box in the cupboard.. cos really other than it being an accessory, it reflects on the guy as well... of course the size of the rock cant be used to tell how good the guy is... it is nonetheless the hot topic of her gal pals... and obviously the bigger, more glittery ring will draw greater no. of WOWs... and it is a feel good factor..
i dun really need a designer gown nor photoshoot by one of the most famous photogs ard nor have a 100table wedding dinner ... certainly i wouldnt mind if the above mentioned were possible.... but i think a sizeable (perhaps 0.7ct at least) ring is still a must have... heh..
if i m still left on the shelf by 30... i will give myself an excuse to buy me a big rock in celebration of the big 3... hah! ;) |
