    REVISITING SINGAPORE ;)

honestly, is there nothing much to do in singapore other than EAT &
CHILL & SHOP?... it can really kill your brain cells having to think of wat
to do every weekend...glad that there is a brain (not mine) comin up
with those ideas :P i did make a contribution too with my earlier "what
    to do" list ;)

For the past 3yrs, when I cant think of anything to do or when frens
dun ask me out or i cant get them out, i do wat is do best...ROT AT
HOME!! Actually if you think about it, it is quite a luxury to just do
nothing and laze around... esp for ppl like me who have to deal with
events, visits, filming/photog requests... such happenings on weekday
nights and weekends are not uncommon.. rest & sleep seem to be
wat i perpetually lack off these days...

so many things i have to do... i want to do... i finally realise that 7days
a week is not enough! and finally understood angeline's point of
"weekend is precious"... i used to have weekends all to myself but now
that i have someone to share them with, i wished the weekends could be
    longer....

Obviously there is no way to do that so I guess we just have to make
sure that the time spent for doing any activity is well spent.. as i always
say... quality time is better than quantity... the quantity part can be easily
achieved when a couple gets married...

since we gotta make do with the limited places of interest this island has
to offer... i guess it is time to revisit singapore all over again... the 3
places i have been to in the last 2 wks are far more than i have been in
the last one yr at least or more...

east coast park is the best so far with the yummy hawker food and taking
a stroll along the beach with the cool see breeze against your face is
    equally enjoyable...

keppel bay has a pretty bridge similar to the 情人桥 in taiwan.. BUT the
weather here is humid ...thats the difference... though it is next to the sea
but i think it is quite inland so you dun get much of the sea breeze and w/o
the beach, you cant hear the waves rushing to shore... which can be quite
therapeutic...it still beats squeezing with the crowds in town... but beware
of the mozzie kisses... got 5 of them w/o knowing..

haven been to fort canning since my sec sch days i believe... it was abit
humid last nite.. not much wind... but perhaps if it was really windy i think
it will be quite scary walking thru the dimly lit park with lotsa tree leaves
and plants ruffling and suddenly encountering the tomb of a revered muslim
leader who died in the 1400s... although no one is sure if the actual body
lies in there... to see a tomb in the midst of the heavily 'forested' area with
incense burning (the fragrance was quite strong and could be smelt from
some distance away even b4 seeing the tomb) and not to mention that the
place is pretty dark, can make your hair stand ... and of course it doesnt
help when your bf goes "hmmm...that smell is not a good sign" :p

out of curiosity, i went to do a google on the tomb and came across the
Singapore Paranormal Investigator's website on the list of MOST haunted
places in singapore http://www.spi.com.sg/haunted/main.htm .. 2 of the
3 places i mentioned above were listed (O_O)!!

as it is now late at night and raining outside and wind howling.. i will leave
    the reading to another time~~
