Well my millions of loyal readers, this Blurty will soon bite the dust.
But never fear...I've opened a new Caleida accout so the madness can ensue!!!!!
Check out The Real Folk Blues (username: realfolkblues) at www.caleida.com/users/realfolkblues.
I'm gonna keep the Blurty open for a while, in case I feel like writing on 2 journals.
However, I'll see you guys on the flipside! By flipside, I mean Caleida!

Fall Break 03 is here, and I couldn't be happier at the moment...well, actually I could but I'm still in a pretty chipper mood. Mainly because I get to sleep now. Sleep is good.
Anywho, I'm going to try and snag a ride with Nathan to Charleston tomorrow to see all my band buddies...and afterwards, James, Tubs, and I are going to hit the streets once more, possibly with a few other stragglers. I wish I had some yellow police tape...I want some soooooooooo bad.
I feel kinda bad about my conversation with Mariam today...not that either of us said anything bad, it's just that neither of us said much of anything to one another period. I blame it on my constant state of exhaustion. Sorry Mariam, if I seemed stale and stagnant. I was just extremely tired.
As you have undoubtedly already seen, my Blurty has also been granted a slight facelift. I really like the background pic that I have now...Spike Spiegel has to be one of my favorite all-around anime characters. Ironically, Jet Black is in second place. I'm just an all-out Cowboy Bebop fanatic now that I've seen the movie. Next on my list: The Perfect Sessions set. I need more Bebop!!!!!!! .:begins to foam at the mouth:.
Oh yeah...I'll be getting a new PS2 soon. I'm going to put one in layaway on Tuesday. I'm also going to get a network adapter...RE Online will be here before we know it!
BTW: Def Leppard is cool. Really cool.
That's all for this time, folks. |

Black House sooooooooooo should have been part of the Dark Tower series.
For those of you who believe I'm just ranting incoherently again, the fantasy/western/romance/horror/suspense/anything-else-you-can-cram-in-this-space DT series by Stephen King (God of Literature) is about Roland, the last Gunslinger of a world that has moved on, and his obsession for finding the Dark Tower. With him are a little boy, a recovered heroin addict, and a recovered skitzo. It's absolutely amazing literature, believe it or not.
Then we go to The Talisman and its sequel, Black House, written by King and fellow suspense author Peter Straub. In Talisman, Jack Sawyer is a 12 year old boy who has to journey across America and a place known as the Territories (an alternate universe sort of thing) in order to save his mother and her "Twinner" (her alternate self in the Territories). In BH, Jack is a 31 year old retired police detective who has to solve the kidnappings and murders that is plaguing a Wisconsin town. In Black House, King not only hints at the DT storyline, but he makes Jack Sawyer an intregal part of the DT storyline. Not to mention that Parker/Parkus is a gunslinger, and it is obvious that he and Sophie, the new Queen of the Territories, both know Roland. Therefore, I consider BH book #4.5 in the Dark Tower Series.
Anyway, that's all for now. I'll write some more in the morning. Ciao. |

...and it has begun.
The battle shall rage on the streets of Dexter.
Prepare for a long-arsed entry.
For those of you wondering just what kind of nonsensical nonsense is spouting from my brain at the moment, I must inform you of the battle I have chosen to fight.
OK...so it's not so much of a battle as a drive-by coning (as in street cones).
It all began last Saturday night, when Tubs and I kidnapped a poor, defenseless street cone from the side of the road and left it on Amanda Gibson's front porch. Keep in mind this was all at 11:30 at night, when it was dark outside, and to get to her house we had to ambuscade through a cemetary. Fun fun. Anywho, she thought it was quite funny, and put the road cone in her room.
Then came this Saturday...and the beginning of the battle.
(Conscience: Enough with the battle nonsense, you moron!)
Anyway, Tubs, Amanda, James Eldreth, and I all went to Poplar Bluff to see the St. Louis Brass Quintet. I imagine an equivalent sound if God himself had picked up that tuba...that concert was the SCHIZZ! Anyway, afterwards we decided to do some stupid stuff. In a repeat of last week's stunt, we pulled into Sonic and Tubs (this time, along with James), took off and ran around the place , waving their arms around their heads like a couple of morons. We then returned to Dexter...or so we thought. Tubs and James recommended a stop in Dudley (which for those of you non-Dexter peeps...Dudley's this little bass-ackwards town of 257 people that's right outside of Dexter) so we could harass a couple of their friends. We hijacked another road cone (this time I had to jump out and do it...realizing until later that I didn't put the car in park during the raid...thank God the street was empty) and this time, we planted it in Eric Grimes' (some guy they go to school with) yard. We then returned to Dexter, dropped Amanda off, and Tubs, James, and I hijacked 4 MORE CONES!!!! We had dastardly plans with these...we first had to perform a drive-by coning. We drove by Mr. Rybolt's house, and just threw one in his yard. We then made a journey to Rhodes' convenience store to stock up on Code Red Mountain Dew (the nectar of the Gods)...where we saw Jared Ableson at the drive-thru window at McDonalds. James got a "bright" idea...we pulled up alongside Jared (who couldn't see us yet), James exited the car with a cone, and he put it on top of Jared's truck. HE STILL DIDN'T SEE US! Finally, he saw us when James fell on his fat arse as he ran back to the car. Well, with Mountain Dew in hand and two more street cones to deposit, we made our way back to Amanda's place. In a couple minutes, I jotted down a quick ransom note (apparantly Alcoholics Anoynomous had kidnapped Tubs) and we left another cone on her porch. However, we were caught this time, and we talked to Amanda for a few minutes. Then she was caught by her parents, and got in trouble because we were out in her front yard. Hopefully she didn't get in too much trouble, since she was going to go with us in two weeks to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra when they come to PB. So, with one more cone to go, we decided just to return to Tubs' house and play some pool. That was at 11:30. When we left Tubs' house at 1:25 AM to get some more sodas, the driveway was empty (save for my car, of course). When we returned at 1:45, the driveway was empty. When James and I prepared to leave at 2:30, there was a road cone sitting behind my car...
...it was the one we left Mr. Rybolt! He brought it back!
And thus the war began. Instead of going home, Tubs and James loaded back up in the car, took the road cone, kidnapped two more along the way, and left them all on Mr. Rybolt's front porch. I have a feeling that this is going to erupt into something big....
...yay!!!!!
Anyway, that's why I was gone all weekend (besides me having to work from 10-3 on Saturday). Sorry that I didn't get to talk to everyone.
Eh, until later my metal minions. |

Today...well, today was work. I had to come in and run Clear 94 live from 10-3, and VT Classics 95.5 from 6-12a for tomorrow night. For those of you who I haven't explained the VT process to, VT stands for voicetracker, which is a program that allows us to record our airshifts ahead of time. Y'see, while I'm "on" Classics 95 tomorrow, I'll actually be asleep.
Anywho, I'm going to see the St. Louis Brass Quintet tonight at the Tinnin Center. Mr. White has arranged for me to meet their tuba player, who happens to be the tuba instructor at the University of Indiana. That should be pretty cool.
Now for the part that could make you mad-just remember to take what I have to say in context. I do not agree with the recent media hype against Rush Limbaugh.
My reasoning:
1. While I do not believe race should have ever been brought into the context, I do believe that Donovan McNabb, like Kurt Warner and a million other QBs before him, has been overrated. He has never sat higher than 10th or so on the QB rating list for any given year, and Brad Johnson, who is a pitiful QB, is ranked higher than him in lifetime stats. Donovan may be able to run, but that's about it.
2. The reaction by the Democratic candidates was absoluely preposterous. Yes, I admit that I am a liberal Republican at heart, however since I do get to vote in this next election, I have to admit that Wesley Clark was looking like an able candidate to receive my vote. However, when he, Al Sharpton, and every other Democrat immediately opened up to call him a racist and demand that ESPN fire him, he immediately lost my vote. How can you call Rush Limbaugh a racist? Even though he is a Republican, he has been AL SHARPTON'S BIGGEST CAMPAIGN SUPPORTER!!!!!!!!!! He has promoted Al on several of his shows, on his website, on his magazine, and even in public! This just goes to show that some candidates will go to any length to attach their names to a big story, even though it means ditching their supporters.
3. Also, we forget that this is America, where we have a little something called free speech. To see presidential candidates make a rush to have somebody fired for something he had the right to say is absolutely disheartening. The job of the President is to uphold the Constitution...to see presidential hopefuls break their necks to try and have someone removed from the media because of something he said, and had the right to say, just shows exactly how they believe that this country should be run...where if they don't like what you say, then they shut you up. Is this how America is going to be looked upon in the future?
I'm sorry, that just had to get out of my system. I'm not a fan of the Rush Limbaugh show, or even the man himself...but I don't think it's the right of anyone to determine what people can and cannot say. We are all too worried about being politically correct, and we're starting to lose the bases on which this country was founded on. |

It hurts me to type this letter to you people...
no, seriously...it does hurt. I made the half-witted decision to join a gym yesterday, and now I'm paying for my super-rapid-power lifting.
Question for Nathan: were you still in gym our junior year when Coach Sitze made us do those "kill drill" things, or had you already gone to jazz band? Well, I ask because my body feels in that same position right now. My extremeties are in quite a lot of pain.
Here's what I did...
3X10 reps on bench press @ 50-65-70% of my max.
3X10 reps on shoulder press " "
4X10 reps on the 3-in-1 leg trainer (where you lay down and push a bunch of weight up with your feet). I believe I had upwards of 300lb on that. It's not much, but after not working out in 2 years...
3X10 reps on the quads machine (another leg training excercise)
3X10 on the rowing machine @150-200-225lb.
fast run on the treadmill for 5 minutes
walk on treadmill for 5 minutes
fast cycling for 5 minutes
walk on treadmill for 5 minutes.
As you can see, I was quite busy. Anywho, I'm going to go back to Dexter and eat now, so I'll see everyone tonight, if they're on! I promise! |

Your meme, you have no choice as whether or not to accept it, is to rank the following bands in order, from COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT to COULDN'T CARE LESS. To add value to this process, you must also add one band to the list (bolded), and remove one band from the list (strikeout), before passing the meme on (including these instructions).
Eric Clapton Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd Queen Rolling Stones The Eagles Smashing Pumpkins Lynyrd Skynyrd Ben Folds Five Nine Inch Nails Paul Simon

Heh...I'm not tired. Well I am, but I'm happy-happy-joy-joy.
It seems that sometimes good things start out the bad way...today when I came in to pick up my pay check, I found out that a woman I work with, who is a really nice person, watched her house burn to the ground this morning. I felt so bad for her...I wish I could afford to give her money, but I'm in the situation where I just can't afford to give money away. However, when I came to work tonight, I found out that with her temporary departure, all the scheduling for Classics 95.5 was screwed, so I got to do my first shift on Classics! Yeah! It was super happy fun time for me! Hopefully Randy will let me have more and more airtime until I back my way right into a Classics full-time shift. Clear 94 is all right (albeit I can't stand country music) but most of the music on Classics is the music I listen to and know about, and I just generally have more fun on Classics.
I finally did something I've been meaning to do for a while now...I bought Final Fantasy Tactics. My brother in law gave Kyle and me an old Playstation (I mean old...one of the big honkin' old ones) so I finally have a small doorstep to the world of Final Fantasy once more. Now if I could only find my FFVIII discs...
I also received notice that it's official...I will be going to see Gov't Mule on October 29th. That means on October 30th, a Thursday, I won't go to work and I may not go to school. But for Gov't Mule...it would be sooooooooooo worth it. So, in other words, I'm heading for a night of mule-sical madness.
Anyway, it's probably time for me to go back to making fun of crappy rock artists, so I'll let you go, my dear children. |

This next comment is directed to Lynn: where were you tonight? You were supposed to bring that magazine stuff and take my money!!! Oh well...since I don't know when the mag sales end, just send me an email or something and I'll try to get a check to you before it ends.
Now to dig a little deeper into my day: today in public speaking, Mrs. Ramsey announced that there would be no class on Wednesday. However, I have a speech due a week from Wednesday. However, I am not worried; it's an easy easy easy one. I chose a good topic: "History of Modern Rock." I carried my zombified corpse through music theory and computer literacy, and skipped symphonic band this afternoon, only to return at 6:30 for rehearsal.
Now for something Bobby rarely, if ever, discusses. Pants. Yes, today I bought some new pants (due to the fact that mine mysteriously keep disappearing...ironically the days that Kyle decides to go spend the weekend at my sister Tina's house...). I have a new favorite pair of pants now. There's not much you can say about that, but I love my pants. To revive an old joke that died a long time ago, I heart pants.
I then journeyed to Hastings, where I committed the #1 Cardinal sin among all manga fans. I am ashamed to admit this, but I actually bought the final two Love Hina manga, when I only own the first three. It's all Nathan's fault! While he was here I read them as he bought them, and when he decided to scoot off to college and make something of himself instead of staying in close proximity and allowing me to borrow countless loads of anime and manga, I was at the end of #12 and dying to know how the series would end. So blame him!
I must say, I enjoyed the final two editions. I thought the whole deal with Motoko was hilarious, and I think she looks dead sexy with her shorter haircut.
WARNING: SPOILER!!! The only thing I really didn't understand/like was the epilogue...and the fact that after fifteen years, everyone is still living at the Hinata House! And everyone, sans Keitaro and Naru, is still single!!! Excuse me if I get some serious lesbian vibes from that. But once that mess gets cleared up, it's still a pretty enjoyable portion of the story. I thought the last page (before going into the epilogue) was great, where Naru wrote her wish on the time capsule page thingy and turned it into a paper airplane...and the fact that Keitaro gets his arse kicked at his own wedding.
Overall, great story. Although I'm sad that it ended...but I can't help but feel that Ken Akamatsu hints that there'll be a future Love Hina project, perhaps a story within that 15 year timespan from the end and the epilogue. We'll just have to wait and see.
By the way...listening to Hank Williams, Jr. tell you that "He's one of me...I'm one of him" isn't a good thing to keep me awake. In fact, that's just plain scary.
Well, that's all for now children. Talk to you all soon. |

I finally talked to Mariam for the first time in two weeks on Saturday, from which she vanished after about an hour or so and I didn't see her again through the weekend. I'm starting to wonder if she's inferring that I should take a hint...heh, just kidding. I've already taken the hint, and I'm still going to bug her, just because I'm her brother and I can! So there! :P
*ehem...* I think someone's had a little too much Mountain Dew tonight...
Well, anyway tonight I have TRCC band rehearsal, so I'll get to see all the poor souls that decide to hang around there. Hooray!

You know, I just read probably what was the most inspiring thing in the world. While being bored, I decided to take a gander at News Radio 930 KWOC's website (one of the 3 stations I work for) and I looked at Rick Carl's, the Program Manager for KWOC, profile. In it, his favorite quote is noted "It's better to burn the candle at both ends than to never have your wick lit."
With my current work/school schedule, I found that quite enlightening. Sorry, but I just had to share that with you guys.
Also, in the KWOC newsletter that he gives to everyone in the station, he brought up a good topic. "Radio isn't your favorite song; it isn't that annoying commercial; it's the guy in the little box that reaches out and makes your day. We don't always see the people who's lives we touch." That's a really good point as well, one that I actually have a hard time comprehending, due to my relatively short stint in the business. I'm finally starting to realize that there are, believe it or not, people in existence out there who are listening to Bobby Wright (or Hunsaker, which ever you'd prefer). I just see a mic and a board; I can't see the audience.
Anyway, I just thought that stuff was pretty cool. Talk to you guys later.

I do not know, however, when I will be eating at Wendy's again. Another evil Monday/Tuesday...one of those running off 2 hrs of sleep and feeling like crap sort of days.
Man...I never thought I would say this, but TRCC band is actually fun. Heh...with Tubs and Amanda in there, nothing is ever boring. Tubs and I just sit in the back and ridicule everyone, especially Satan...I mean Buddy White. I swear by The Book of Good Farming, I hate him. I am making it one of my life's goals to trip Buddy White down the stairs. And then hit him with a truck.
Hmmm...well, right now I'm recording 8 hours of country music into the Clear 94 hard drive. Those of you that really know me know I hate country...and yes, I know I have friends (et al Lynn) that listen to contemporary country, but I personally just don't like it. Although I am a fan of Lonestar's new song "Walking in Memphis..." that's about it for my country tastes.
Today Randy put me on air on Classics 95.5 again..this time around we were discussing those old classic rock bands that need to put the past beside them and start touring together again...of course I had to go into how I believe that Cream needs to join back together. Clapton's best band, in my book...Cream. The founders of the hard rock movement, according to many music historians.
Oh well...me is tired...me have work to do...and I'm not going to class today. I feel like $h!t...

Good morning to everyone crazy enough to read this...
It was a rather boring night at work. Nothing blew up, nothing went offline, and besides a little glitch in a timesync which I worked out, everything turned out just right ^_^. Today I have a quiz in public speaking and I have a test to prepare for in Music Theory: Harmony I. I'm also already trying to plan which classes I want to take next semester...I'm definately picking up a history and a psychology class...I'm considering pulling a Nathan and becoming a Psych major, or possibly a secondary education major with a specialization in history. I love music and I'd love to teach...but these classes are so damned boring! A radio/mass media/broadcasting degree would be awesome, but that would also be an automatic deferral to sales if my observations are correct. And by the way...sales work is more boring than my music classes. It's on-air or nothing for me.
Anyway, Mariam's power is back on...and I missed her yet again. Everytime she rears her little head around this great big network known as the world wide web, I'm too busy trying to sleep! Blast it all!
And even worse...the forums are going down for a few days. However, Nathan is throwing his back online, and he was craaaaazy enough to make me an administrator. This should be fun. I really hope we get some stupid people to join, so I can use my super admin powers to make them grovel at my feet! BWA HAHAHAHA!
*ehem* Sorry about that.
Anyway...if you read this you should join. http://members.lycos.co.uk/thetruenoir/forum
It's going to be worth your time.
In other news, I have had a recent craving for cheese. Yes, cheese...sharp colby cheddar. I don't know why, I don't know how, but I do know b0b must have some cheese. ph34r my l4ck of ch33z3! But then again it's not as weird as Nathan's latest obsession with banana peppers...that's just freaky ^^ Also, I'm wondering how to spend my Christmas break. I know it's early, but I'm a planner ^^; It's for sure that I'll be home on Christmas day, but then there's like another month and a half to kill. Perhaps I'll go to California and visit my uncle. Or I could always stay home, work, and just be my generally annoying self. Also...in a couple of weeks I get a four-day weekend...it's TRCC's fall break!!!!! That means MORE SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!
BTW: Tomorrow's blurty entry just might be a rant...so be prepared! BWA HAHAHA!
Anyway...Mariam, thou art ordered to email thy brother. Noweth. And as for the rest of you...just try to keep Nathan away from the blasted banana peppers.

I'm just watching a bad dream I'd never wake up from.
Find out what anime bad boy you are.
Heh...I always knew that I kicked arse...but this proves it. BTW: The quote from CB: The Movie is r0xX0rZ...it sounds like something I say about my own life every now and then. |

It seems that the school likes the radio guy. Last year, I worked on 2 pep rallies and some other stuff. Now, as an alumni (wow...that makes me sound old) I was recruited by Mr. Rybolt to be the band-announcer-person at the football games.
No, I'm not complaining. That's a pretty cool job ^_^
What was really cool was that I got to see a bunch of my old friends from high school last night. Once again, they all acted like they thought I was dead and had been ressurrected. It was awfully funny.
As of now, I'm on my way to work. I'm the weekend midmorning guy for Clear 94 in addition to all that other stuff I do. Since I have to leave in 10 minutes, it would probably benefit me to prepare to leave now.

Bobby was going to have a good day today.
Bobby's airshift was kick @rs3.
Then Bobby pushed one wrong button, and deleted all of the commercials in Clear 94's hard drive, and had to spend half an hour re-uploading them.
This is not making out to be a good day. More to come later.
