[01 Aug 2003|09:21pm] [ mood | thoughtful ] [ music | Reel Big Fish - Cheer Up ] sorry i have not upadfted forever. not since i got back on tuesday, and it's a friday. a lot has been happening. dan is our new guitarist, and he is A DAMN GOOD GUITARIST! i think the show monday the 4th, 5 bucks at the door, botan, starting at 6:30, will be awesome Chris's grandma took us to TGI friday's. we convinced our waiter (rachel) to come to the show. i had the weirdest conversation with dustin last night over a game of crazy 8's. Dustin is convinced completely that there is no individual thought or action. everything you say, do and think is a product of past experiences. it makes me shudder, not because of the loss of controll, but because it means that humanity has hit a dead end. if everyone is build up of expierneces that are already there, everyone is made of the same thing, and nothing new is introduced. i met a new girl, myssa. she came to practice with ana. 2 C sharps| play the trumpet

through the wilderness... [29 Jul 2003|10:19pm] [ mood | refreshed ] [ music | Slaughterhouse 6 - Dr.D ] well, i left early sunday for my grandparents farm. it's not really a farm, but a 300 acres of prarie land. it used to be a farm, but the gov. paid him to turn it into prarie land. daytime brought my grandmother. she had multiple small strokes a while back, so she basically has alizheimers. she usually just repeats stuff over and over, but this time, she was different. she was quite angry, and convinced things happened to her that didn't. she kept saying everyone hated her, or that there was a preist. my little cousins didn't understand... my brother and i did the usual stuff. fished, drove the tractors and bushogs, cought fireflies, everything you could ever want. the insect life is diverse. every kind of bug you could image lives there, thirving with the coming about of rain. it doesn't sound great. day ususally isn't. it's the supressor of the sun that brought calm. the night sky is more beautiful than anything i've ever seen. it always is. trillions of stars in every square inch, bright stars, dim one, planets, constellations of every kind. you can see the milky war, like some cosmic dust scattered across the sky. you can sit and talk for hours upon hours. we bought professional grade fireworks and lit up the night. it's the most romantic thing you will ever see. next time i'm going, nobody else is gonna be there. my mom is going to drop me off there, and nobody else will be there. if you want to go, tell me. it will be a wonderful time. adios and adieu, colin 1 C sharp| play the trumpet

in the midnight hour babe, she cried more, more, more... [26 Jul 2003|01:53am] well, today was a mixed bag. woke up, played halo with chris and ben, fucked around. came to chris's for band practice. had a wonderful band practice. hung out with dan and danielle and matt (not norton) and Mike P. got really mad downtown. everything was going fine, having a nice time at nolan plaza. brad, ayla, and laura walk over. we start talking to them and stuff. i tweak on a sugar rush from K-aid then it all goes downhill laura is raggin' on me for the half hour i'm there. it's fine at first, but gets old fast. this strander and his asian friend walk up, and for the 20th time today, i get "get a fuckin' haircute, hippie!" this guy is a total dick. so, while everyone is raggin on me and makin fun of me, this drunk guy on a bike comes up and starts babbling about me t-shirt. it sucks, but i can handle it. then, out of nowhere, mike patrick says "meet peter, petert slap!" he punches me square in the testicles for no apparent reason. and i just lost it. i didn't wanna do anything, so i walked away. i guess laura , stranger, drunk guy, and gettin punched in the cojones kinda built up. especially the whole "PUNCHING COLIN IN HIS NUTS FOR NO REASON". i am still pissed. had a really fun time with danielle. she's a sweety pie. got back, played poker with jeremy and dan and chris and jim. lost, but it wasn't my money. chris is snoggered. he just fell down the stairs fuck you anonymus, you're a dick. it's really hard to convey how pissed i am about tonight. i'm not mad at anybody but laura, and i'm not really pissed at her... play the trumpet
