    After the google update, what now?
    experiencing trouble with your website rankings after the recent google update? You're not alone, a lot of websites have lost their rankings in google. From searching the internet, many webmasters are scrambling to try and get their ranking back. Unfortunately there is no easy solution, or not one that I could find, it just means you will need to do things differently to resolved this.



    What you need to do is to replan your web promotion strategy to get your rankings back. From searching the internet I have found out about this update, many sites have been penalised heavily for the way they have been promoted in the past. In essence, google have been trying to improve search engines results. The aim is to have more site content aimed for the reader and not at the search engine.



    For many sites, the main aim of the content, and thus the web promotion was for search engine ranking, and not for the reader visiting the site. Google wants more useful content be created for the reader, not the search engine. What this means for websites is that the content will need to be changed so that it is not so much search orientated.



    Doing this is more easily said than done, but to regain your ranking, you will need to change your site's content in some way, as well as your web promotion strategies. Searching on the web is the ideal first way to get started in seeing what others are doing. This is a slower method of making money than by showing ads but over time, as more people actually sign up to these programs, the amount of money I can make does increase by the number that I refer.



    Of course using these methods will not guarantee me earning money, it just increases the odds of making some cash, which comes to the one other thing you will need, visitors.



    Now I'm no expert in the area of website promotion but I have been able to get visitors to my site via search engines easily enough. Even though it is only a handful each day, it does give me a chance to make money. There are other methods as well, such as using traffic exchanges but in my experience, the visitors you get from these are not of high quality.



    Web promotion is basic to do and is essential to getting visitors, and over time you do find the best ways that work for you and get you more visitors. Just google, and you will find plenty of resources to use for web promotion.

    Making money online - extra cash
    Earning money on the internet is not always about making quick money. To be honest, unless you are one of the lucky ones, it will take time and effort to make a lot of money on the net. I would rather earn small amounts of money than big amounts. I feel you would get more enjoyment out a small amount of extra cash, but who would not say no to earning big.



    Making money online is not as easy as some websites make it out to be. Just google, and you will find many websites that say you can earn big fast cash easy. But as I said before unless you are one of the lucky ones, things like that don't happen so easy on the web.



    All these websites are flashy and promise you fast easy cash with little effort but in reality it is not that easy. From my research, a lot of these websites are not what they appear to be. The only people that are making big money, are the ones that created these sites in the first place. Or the ones that joined right at the top, and started referring people early. For most people, I think you would be lucky to make no more than a few bucks, and thats if you haven't spent more money to get those couple of extra dollars.



    My preference is to earn money slow and easy like. For that reason, I mainly stick to free sites, like Paid to Click (PTC) and Paid to Read (PTR) sites. They aren't too difficult to find on the net, but they do make you some extra cash, and if you can promote these to your friends and family or others, you can earn abit more through referral earnings.



    PTC & PTR sites may seem insignificant to many as they offer little reward for the effort you put in, but over time, all these little amounts do add up. And whats more, if you are already surfing on the net, why not get paid to do it. The beauty of these sites, is that you can join as many as you like as they are free, and all the little amounts you get paid from the ones you have joined, end up being quite a lot of money. All it takes is time and patience and you can end up with some extra cash to spend on whatever you like.



    And as I said previously if you get referrals, you can earn more, and its not that hard to do either.     Making money referring people
    A sure way of making money on the internet is to refer people to some of the programs you have joined yourself. Not that this itself is a sure fire way to make money but the more people you refer, the more chance there is of earning. Its basically comes down to economies of scale, the more people that you refer, the greater the chance of having these people make money for you.



    And one of the best ways to refer people is by using your website if you have one. You just place the programs you want referrals on your website, and then wait for people to join up under you.



    If you don't have a website, there are many other ways of getting referrals on the internet. One of the common ways I see is by using traffic exchanges, but there are some get paid to click programs that do allow you to advertise sites that may get you referrals as well.



    Traffic exchanges are a good idea to getting referrals, but in my experience, they are not as effective as using my website. I tell you why I think this is because a lot of people have the same idea so they flood the same programs as advertised on the traffic exchanges diluting the chance of getting referrals. Also the traffic generated on some traffic exchanges is sometimes not the best as people are trying to earn credits to advertise these programs, so are not really taking much notice of websites that they surf when earning credits. But if you only need traffic, they do work.



    As for the paid to click programs, yiou can end up the same problem as with the traffic exchanges, many people flood these with the same programs, so they may not be so effective as they could be.



    Unless you have a brand new program, I think the best way to go to referring people to programs is by using a website. At least you have control what you put on your website, and can encourage people to join your programs.



    In saying all of this, there is a huge number of different ways of getting referrals but I have touched on only a couple. Just go to a search engine and search for more ways.

    Only one other thing to consider when you have a website is getting visitors to see it. You could give the url to your friends but the number of visitors you will recieve will not be great unless you have thousands of friends. The other way is through web promotion.



    Web promotion is easy to do, its just time consuming but when you see visitors coming to your website through search engines, you will pleased.

    How to earn money online without spending a cent is easy to do. There are many websites out there that let you do just that. Sure they may not pay a lot, but if you join enough of them, the total accumulation of small amounts of money can by quite high over time.



    For the most part, these are paid to read emails, and paid to click websites. They pay you a small amount of money for every email or website you click on, and if you do this everyday, over time the amount you are earning just builds up. And best of all it doesn't take that long each day to do this.



    Even if you are earning just $0.05 per day from each one, and you have joined 10 websites, that amounts to you earning $0.50 per day, and you times that by 30 days per month, its $15.00 per month or $180 per year for doing not much. But most websites will earn you more than $0.05 per day. Now just think about it for a second, it may not seem much from each website but the accumulation does add up fairly quickly, and if you join even more websites, the amount you can earn will be far greater.



    I know you are telling yourself that all that effort for little gain, is it actually worth it? I think it is for that little bit of extra income you can earn for spending nothing at all but a bit of your time each day. And that extra income you can use for anything at all.     Ditch your day job - earn an online income
    Is it easy to make money online? And can you ditch your day job? They are good questions that have no simple answer when it comes to earning money online.



    Depending on who you ask, some will say yes, and others will say no. As for me, I'll would have to say yes and no, but it all depends on how you go about doing this to earn an online income.



    Giving up your day job to earn your money online would be a risky thing to do, but no doubt there will be countless people that have done it. I personally wouldn't do this unless I found a sure fire way of making sure I was earning enough money to do this. Others would take a chance, but I do think it comes down to a lot of research, knowledge, and hard work. As well as taking that risk in the first place.



    You definitely would need to do a lot of research before you even thought about going down the path of giving up your day job. As well as making sure you were earning some sort of income online before you decide to give your day job up. If I was going to do this, I would make sure I was earning enough money in the short term to supplement the money I would be earning in my day job, and as you earn more from your online ventures, then you could think about switching over to just earning online. But I guess you would need to factor in a plan to shift from your day job to your online income over a period of time.



    And what if it doesn't work out, what then? You would also need to consider this, have a plan in place if something went wrong, and overnight your income just dried up from earning online. If I was considering to earn online, I would make sure I had a minimum amount saved in the event I lost all income streams online. As well as always saving more of what I earned online in the short term, before I even considered giving up my day job.



    Now, how would you go about earning an income online? Do you pay your hard earned money to make money online or do you use free sites to make money? This is not an easy question to answer, as everyone has different circumstances to consider firstly, and secondly, you can be stung pretty hard if you make the wrong choices, especially if you are investing your own money to earn money. Myself, I usually stick right away from any type of online business that requires you to use your own money to make money, but in saying this, there are quite a few people who wouldn't think twice about doing this.



    If I was going to use my own money, the first most important thing I would do is research. I would research as much as I could on the program/online business as I could to make sure it wasn't shonky, and that it could work for me. If you don't do your homework, then you could be ripped off, or scammed by shonky sites promising the world, but delivering nothing. The second thing I would do, is to research even more to find out what others think of a certain income opportunity and get second opinions before I even considered anything. And thirdly, always remember this golden rule "If something seems too good to be true, it problably is", in other words, always be aware of promises of extreme riches or high returns, because most of the time, this is where you will problably get stung by shonky operators.



    I personally wouldn't think of paying money to earn money, I mostly use free sites to earn money. And as I don't want to give up my day job, that is good for me. I don't mind making a little extra money online that I can use in any way I can think of. If I found a sure fire way of making a lot of money online, I most likely would then think about giving up my day job, but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. Besides I'm happy the way I am going at them moment. In the future that may change.

    Making money from your website – promoting by trial and error
    Making money on your website is a very easy thing to do. The hard part is getting traffic to your website by promotion of your website. But it can be done.



    There are various means possible to do this from submitting your website to search engines to traffic exchanges and beyond. You can find all this information and more out on the internet just by googling.



    How effective some of these methods are is debatable but as long as you can begin to get a few people to visit your site that is all you need to start off with. The longer you try, the more successful you wil become in getting people to visit your website.



    There is no magic bullet for getting visitors to your website, as it takes time, a lot of patience and hard work, but it will pay off for you if you persist.



    I am just in the beginning stages of promoting my site Earning Money By Reading Emails but I am seeing some results. My traffic stats are beginning to rise, even though it may be slow, but they are consistent and my goal is to increase them greatly over time.



    I will try any type of method to get visitors, and one of the methods that seems to work is by increasing my backlinks to my site. I have a noticeable improvement in the number of backlinks to my websiteI have noticed over time my backlinks have grown}, which has resulted in more visitors. And my personal favourite to increasing backlinks is by leaving comments at other peoples blogs, and websites. This is a time consuming method, and does not guarantee your comments will be published on all websites and blogs, but it does work.



    The best way of doing this is by googling one of keywords while looking for blogs. I usually pick out a keyword, say earning money, and put it into a google search as "earning money blogs". From the results, I usually go through and pick a few sites that allow you to leave comments, and just leave a comment with your website address. Most of the times my comments are accepted, but sometimes they aren't or they need to be moderated first. Either way, over time you will build up more backlinks, even if you do 10-20 comments a day that are accepted. Over a 30 day period, you could have anywhere between 300-600 new backlinks for your website. And by just doing this, it will help improve your website ranking with search engines, thus increasing the number of visitors you receive.



    Web promotion isn't just about knowing what to do but its also about trying things by trial and error. With a bit of patience and time, you will be able to get more visitors to your website. It is a matter of having abit of fun and trying different ways of doing things.     Earning an income through get paid to read emails programs
    Earning money online by using a get paid to surf programs is easy and quick to do. One of my favourites is a site called AyuWage.



    AyuWage is a good program to begin with, as unlike many others you don't recieve emails to click to earn money, you actually log onto their site, and click the links to their ads which pay you. They reward you with credits which represent a monetary value. Basically for every 100 credits, you earn $0.05 and this is shown in realtime as well. It is not neccassy to convert the credits to money as they do it automatically everytime you earn credits.



    They have a couple of different earning methods available to you, and they are



    View Sites - you earn between 2 to 4 credits just by clicking on their ads (which equates to $0.001 - $0.002), and just visiting the site for 20 seconds.
    Regular Sites - you earn between 10 to 60 credits just by clicking on their ads (which equates to $0.005 - $0.015), and for clicking an ad on the page that opens.
    Search Sites - you earn between 50 to 100 credits per site (which equates to $0.025 - $0.05), for searching and clicking on the specified site.
    Special Sites - you earn between 100 to 400 credits per site (which equates to $0.05 - $0.20), for visiting and performing the specific action.
    Survey Sites - you earn between 500 to 4000 credits per site (which equates to $0.25 - $2.00), for visting and doing surveys.



    As you can clearly see, there are various ways of earning money on AwuWage, and it will not take that long to earn the minimum payout of $5.00. By my calculations, just by doing the first 2 methods (View Sites & Regular sites) it is easy to earn about $0.40 per day, and get to $5.00 within 10-15 days. And if you combine this with their other earning options, you could be easily earning even more. And they pay you within 2 to 3 days of your payment request, and have a number of payment options to get your cash, AlertPay, Liberty Reserve, and PayPal.



    By just doing the above will not make you rich, it will earn you a little extra cash, which over a year will give you a minimum $120 into your account. What they also have on offer which will see you make a lot more is their referal program. You will earn 10% for each referal you get to this site. And getting referals is fairly easy, from just getting your friends to sign up under you, to promoting your referal link on the internet, either on your website if you have one, or by various other methods, such as traffic exchanges.



    Now to see how much you could be making by getting referals, I will show in the below examples, using the assumption that you earn a minimum of $5.00 per month yourself, and each referal you get does the same, which gives you $0.50 from each.



    Example 1.



    You earn $5.00, and you refer 5 people who earns $5.00 ($0.50 10% of their earnings to you) - $5.00 + 5 x $0.50 = $7.50 per month you earn or $90.00 per year.



    Example 2.



    You earn $5.00, and you refer 10 people who earns $5.00 ($0.50 10% of their earnings to you) - $5.00 + 10 x $0.50 = $10.00 per month you earn or $120 per year.



    Example 3.



    You earn $5.00, and you refer 50 people who earns $5.00 ($0.50 10% of their earnings to you) - $5.00 + 50 x $0.50 = $30.00 per month you earn or $360 per year.



    Example 4.



    You earn $5.00, and you refer 100 people who earns $5.00 ($0.50 10% of their earnings to you) - $5.00 + 100 x $0.50 = $55.00 per month you earn or $660 per year.




    You can get the idea from the examples above, the more people you you refer, the more you can potentially make every month, and every year. And if you, or your referals earn more than the minimum each month, you could by earning a lot more.

    Do you want to make cash online?



    On the net, income opportunities to earn money at home are limitless. But to find the ones that are worth your time and effort is another story in itself.



    There are so many options to be found, if you believe the hype of some of them, you would be a millionaire many times over. They do make it sound so easy, and show all types of proof just to get you in. The only ones making money is the ones promoting these sites. They are so easy to find, and promise you riches beyond your dreams but from my experience, if something sounds too good to be true, it problbly is. A lot of these are scams, or at the very least you need to get in at the top and basically feed off everyone else below. The people making all the money are right at the top of the tree.



    So how do you know what is a good one to join and which ones you should stay away from. You don't. I always do a little bit of research on search engines like google to find out what others think. I also have a rule I always follow, if they want money to join, I just don't bother. Its not because I think I'm going to get ripped off, its more because I do this as a hobby, so I rather not spend money to make money. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on how they approach this.



    Most of my efforts so far have basically been in 'Earning money by reading emails' programs, and doing surveys, which don't actually earn you a lot of money but they do give you some extra cash. As of late, I've been looking at other methods as well like affiliate programs whcih can earn you money from your website but there are many to choose from. I haven't really been successful so far in making money from them yet, but I'm hoping to in the future.



    One thing that is of high importance that you can't forget if you are trying to earn money at home from the various income opportunities available, is web promotion. This is one area where I really do fall down in, as there are so many different ways to go about approaching this. To me, this is a trial and error approach. I try something and if that doesn't work I try somthing different. To me, if you try a few different ways, maybe something will stick. If not, try another.



    I know to be successful in making money on the internet, you need to spend time and effort, which I am short of, which as previously mentioned, I see this more of a hobby than a business.     Earning money at home with a home business
    Winning in the world of internet home business, earning money at home and web promotion is not easy. I find it very frustrating but at the same time interesting as well. As I check the stats each day, I'm hoping to see improvement. But most of the time therre is some ground gained, and at others times lost. I'm not sure what is actually happening here but I keep persisting.



    I keep trying new things hoping that something will stick and give me an advantage over other sites but alas it has proved to be slow going. I know internet marketing is a slow process that needs to be given time to succeed. I haven't given up, and I won't. At the end of the day it feels like I'm flogging a dead horse but I know eventually something will fall into place that will work.



    My website Earning Money By Reading Emailsis not the best designed site on the web but at least it is pulling some traffic on its own. This has been a long slow process and I guess it will take a while longer before I will see the results I am after.



    One thing I haven't done for a little while is update the content on my site, but finding quality content to put on my site has been a small issue in itself. I think I should be broading the scope of the site, so to open up a few more opportunities that I could exploit in the future. I know there is an unlimited content on the web to use, as well as using my own but I think it comes down to me being a bit fussy in what I what to appear on my site.



    The thing is I want to put stuff on my site that others will find useful without putting too much to overwhelm visitors and at the same time improve the content that is already on there. How I do this, I don't know. Also having a lack of time is not helping considering I work all day, and sometimes when I get home all I want to do is chill out.



    So there you have it, I need to find more time somehow to get my site up to scratch so that I can begin to get visitors to it, so that maybe I can earn a little extra cash.

    3 Tips For Web Promotion
    Web promotion is not that simple to do. In one sense it is, as you can find a wealth of information across the internet but the value of some of these is almost zero. And at the same time confusing to anyone new to this.



    I'm not that experienced in web promotion but I do try a few different ways to promote my website Earning Money By Reading Emails, and I will share a few tips with you. Most of which I find by googling different keywords on search engines.



    1. Directory and search engine submission.



    There are many different submission sites on the internet that allow you to submit your website to them for free, or for just putting a small link back to their website. They are mostly easy to use, and can get you some links. All you need to do is google for these with keywords such as search engine submission, free link submission etc, and you will find quite a list of them.



    I'm not sure how useful some of these are but I do use these, and they seem to work.



    2. Blogs.



    This is a new method for me, but blogs are a good way of getting backlinks to your site. Backlinks help to get your website noticed more by search engines. There are many blogs on the internet covering many various topics and they are easy to find. You just need to search for them on google or another search engine, and you will find plenty. This method is time consuming but by all reports does work if you put in the hard work.



    One point to note when doing this is to make sure you actually read the blogs, and make your comments relevant to them otherwise your comment may not get approved by the owner.



    3. Article submission.



    Yet again, a new method of web promotion for me. This is something that will take time to do, there are many different sites that you can join to submit articles to. And they do help with your site getting noticed by search engines as well as they too brovide backlinks.



    The biggest problem I see to this is writing articles that are of interest, and are unique. When I first started, I didn't even know where to begin with ideas, but now I am starting to improve. The biggest tip I can give you is to write about somehing you know, that a way you can't go wrong. you may not be entirely correct but if you write about what you are doing, it makes it easier. I guess over time you will become more experienced in doing this.

    Get visitors to your website by website promotion
    Promoting your site is a daunting task. Just creating a site can be a challenge but when it comes to website promotion so you can get visitors is on another level. Without the right knowledge, it can be tedious and very time consuming.



    You want to have as many people visiting your website as you can but it is a frustrating task knowing exactly what you need to do. My efforts so far has resulted in bearly a trickle of visitors each day.



    I did try traffic exchanges to get visitors but I found the quality to not be there as all they were doing was just sailing straight by as they earnt credits to get visitors to their own websites.



    Then I googled various phrases which has resulted in getting some traffic to my site but at the moment it is still ad hoc promotion.



    My best bet, which I need to put into practice is to plan my strategy so that I can focus on the task at hand. Without a plan, I will be just sailing along going nowhere.



    To this end, and what I have seen while looking for ways to promote my site, is that the successful sites must be promoted either by people with a good plan or by lots of cash.



    As I don't have the cash to spare to buy visitors through programs like google's Adsense, I need to get them another way.



    As I said, most of my ideas I get by googling phrases such as 'seo search engines, website promotion, directory submissions' and the like to find ways to promote.



    It has been sucessful on a very small scale, but to get it to a larger more consistent scale I need to plan.



    And one of the first things i have learnt is that you can't have too many backlinks to your site. In fact the more you have, the more you will get noticed by the search engines. But just having backlinks isn't enough, they need to be quality ones.



    That is in the case of google, they must have a good page rank (PR), which indicates to google that they are an authority site. But you need to search for these, and there are programs that help you, but the best bet is to do the work yourself.



    It may take a lot of time but I think doing it all yourself over a period of time will be more rewarding in the end.
