Lee Evans Jaguars Jersey - Lee Evans signs deal with Jacksonville Jaguars
Weeks after visiting Jacksonville Jaguars, receiver Lee Evans wore Lee Evans Jaguars Jersey and agreed to a one-year deal Monday with the organization. Lee Evans was a first-round draft pick in Buffalo when Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey was the head coach there. He spent seven seasons with the Bills and last season with the Baltimore Ravens. During his time with the Bills, Evans had 1,000-yard receiving years in 2006 and 2008. Baltimore acquired Evans in a trade before the 2011 season. He only played in nine games because of injuries and started two last season. Evans, 31, also gained notoriety during this year’s AFC Championship game when he failed to catch what would have been a game-winning touchdown from Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. After the game there was debate about whether the play resulted in a catch or whether the ball was knocked from Evans’ hands. The Jaguars previously signed former Dallas receiver Laurent Robinson to a five-year deal worth $32.5 million. Jacksonville ranked last in the NFL in passing offense last season and set out to upgrade its receiving corps this offseason. They planned to add two receivers through free agency or the draft this offseason. It remains possible they draft a dynamic receiver next week. During the free-agency period, the Jaguars have also signed quarterback Chad Henne and cornerback Aaron Ross as well as re-signing many of their own players. Financial terms of Evans’ deal were not immediately available. Terrance Knighton Nike Jersey - Terrance Knighton of Jacksonville Jaguars to miss three months
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton, who sustained an eye injury in an injury in an off-the-field incident on April 8 and underwent surgery the same day, likely will miss the three months of the offseason program, coach Mike Mularkey said Monday. Terrance Knighton, a fourth-year player from Temple, has worn Terrance Knighton Nike Jersey and started 45 games in three seasons. He has worn Terrance Knighton Nike Jersey and become a staple in the middle of Jacksonville's defense. He reported to training camp overweight and finished with 61 tackles last season. He is hoping for a big season in 2012 in hopes of landing a lucrative, long-term contract. His statistics are not expected to be big enough to warrant use. Steven Jackson Nike Jersey - St. Louis Rams to move RB Steven Jackson?
Should the Rams select Alabama running back Trent Richardson in the first round of the NFL Draft, they would then either trade or release three-time Pro Bowler Steven Jackson, according to Sports Magazine's Peter King. King then suggested that Steven Jackson's $7 million salary would be too pricey to split time with his eventual successor. Steven Jackson had a solid season in 2011 with 260 carries for 1,145 yards and five touchdowns, 42 catches for 333 yards and one touchdown on 58 targets and one fumble. We do not see the Rams spending their first-round pick on Richardson, especially when they have so many other needs including wide receiver. Jeff Fisher spoke glowingly of Jackson during the NFL Annual Meeting, admiring his aggressive nature. Though the clock is ticking on Steven Jackson being a great option, St. Louis Rams should expect him to wear Steven Jackson Nike Jersey and remain a candidate for close to 350 total touches and a reliable running back.
