I went to an Org meeting tonight at Princeton, and we read on article on Spirituality on campus. In the article it talked about separation between Christian Science and the church. I have been thinking about this a lot recently, because I don't always make it to church on Wednesdays or Sundays and sometimes I feel like the people at church look down on me because of this. Like they are saying I am a bad CSer because I'm not always there. But does going to church really make you a good Christian Scientist? Your feed back is welcome.

So today I was reading to a guest. I was reading an old Sentinel, and there was an article in there dealing with a problem I have been dealing with for the past four years. It was a wonderful article and made me feel hope that this addiction that I have can be overcome through God's Love. The author of the article had just gone to bed one evening and woke up and the cravings were gone and she never had any cravings again.
She referred to the parable of the Shepherd and the lost sheep. She noted that even though the sheep was lost, that the little lamb didn't have to find it's way home or even walk the way back, the Shepherd did all the work. All the lamb had to do was yield to the Shepherd and be willing to go with him.
As I was reading this I began to cry, I'm thankful that the guest was asleep by then, because I would have been embarrassed to be crying over a Sentinel article. But I just felt God's presents with me at that moment and it overwhelmed me, I felt a closeness to God that I haven't felt in a long while. I love Love.
