No Turning Back Now My poor little H has been in the wars today. He was cycling home on a road which had a cycle lane but had cars parked in it so was on the road itself and coming up on the inside of a motorbike (yes, he was going faster than a guy on a motorbike. Go figure), when the motorbike suddenly turned left immediately beside him to go into a forecourt. Ow. Needless to say he went arse over tip and is covered in gashes and grazes. Fortunately a nurse was nearby and came to look after him, and of course everyone in the vicinity stopped too. Technically, H should only have come up on the inside if he'd actually been in the cycle lane, I suppose, and technically the biker should have checked his left wing mirror before turning so, as a witness said, no one person was really to blame and there were no hard feelings. He's hobbled off to band in the hope of keeping the muscles from stiffening up, although I insisted he take the car as a further accident right now would not be pretty. He's a bit of a mess.
Now for the lighter side of the news.
1) I have finally cracked month-end reporting. It took nearly a day-and-a-half of overtime, but I did it (and can take that time in lieu, too!).
2) Last night, H and I went to the Waterside Inn at Bray. It was AMAZING. But I'll tell you about that later as I am tired and want to go to bed.
3) The latest ep of True Blood. Glaaaaaaaark. I laughed, I wibbled, I cried. Damn, how can this show be so awesome?
