Yellowcard/Rufio/lagwagon concert [13 May 03|21:53pm] megahan [ mood | cheerful ] [ music | yellowcard- rough draft ] hi guys im meg... i just wanted to share my story with u... sunday nite i went to the Rufio/Yellowcard/Lagwagon show at st. andrews hall in detroit... i have to say it was amazing... rufio sounded soo good... and Yellowcard despite missing their usual lead singer who was not there because of a broken jaw, were fantastic... after their set i met both bands... yellowcard is my all time favorite band and i got to talk to them for about an hour.. i was so amazed at how nice and down to earth they were and how they seemed to genuinely care... esp Sean Mackin their violin player (my favorite person in the band)... at the end of the nite i got a kiss on the check and a few hugs from sean... the band also signed my ticket and sean signed my stomach (i was dared to ask cuz im usually very shy) and he kissed it after he signed it... Anyways i would highly recommend checking Yellowcard and all those other great bands this summer at warped tour roll the die

Basically, its the main consession with the stage and pavilions turning there backs....pretty much a cruddy spot but .....just interested in opinions. roll the die

[6 April 03|18:16pm] lilpeaches3o5 Trying to get myself a job at the New World Music Theater (a.k.a Tweeter Center) in Chicago. Seems like the best way to get to see free concerts all summer long. Lack of money leads to very poor attendance of shows. 1 snake eye | roll the die

I seen the ad for the community and it looked interesting so I thought I'd join. I have been to hundreds of shows. I haven't been to any recently b/c I've had a broke ankle buuuut Im better now and Im waiting on some good shows to come around. Ummm I think the last concert I went to was (a very long time ago now) a 3 day long festival that featured many bands. I seen Saliva, Kid Rock, John Mayer, Hootie & the blowfish, MoE, Puddle of mudd, Incubus, bush, and stone temple pilots. I seen more but thats all I remember. If you have joined tell your friends please :) My next excursion for concerts will be to see matchbox twenty a couple of times with my friend Jenn in the summer, also a few down here where I am staying so east coast we go to see them. Last concert I saw was Incubus (i've seen them 18 times now!). Sister Hazel, Nine Days, Deftones, Taproot, Staind, Fuzzy Bunny Slippers, Yclef, etc. Many more I'll have to make a full list!
