To go to the dance or not to go to the dance...
On one hand, I have no date. On the other, maybe I can get one.
But should I go...? Will it really be that fun? Plus, I'd probably get laughed at if I asked some of the girls I'd like to ask. Most are those damn pretty blondes with all the friend and who're popular and... hell, I'm just Colin Creevey, a nobody. I get noticed every once in a while for a really good pic, but that's about it.
Well, I think I'm done for tonight.

I could ask Blaise. She's...wow and doesn't have a date yet. But she'd laugh at me... I'm a 6th year! And she's a 7th and a Slytherin. It'd probably snow in hell before she said yes.
Then there's always... Damn. No one. Maybe I'll ask Blaise. Gotta think about it for a while though.

Thanks Blaise, really. I'd ask how you got him to revoke them but I suppose you wouldn't tell me anyway? Probably the same way all of you Slytherins get out of detention with Snape....
So now I've got three days of detention rather than three weeks. But still a ton of homework... Fell asleep on my essays in the common room last night, in case anyone was wondering why I was sleeping down there.
Now, to see about getting that pic back from Snape so I can show everyone who's asked.

Bloody Snape's gone and given me three weeks detention! Over a picture! I even gave him the picture! But no, he's in a pissy mood over something or other so he takes it out on me!
So, Zabini, if you could just get him to revoke the detentions I'll give you the money back plus some! I can't have three weeks of detention! And he's put me with Filch for one week! Please!
Great, now I've got to do my essay on "why you should not tickle a manticore." I mean honestly, what is the point of this? Everyone with any sense would know not to tickle a bloody manticore. Maybe Professor Hagrid has just lost his mind.
And then there's that essay on how to avoid Vampires due for DADA. Then, McGonagal's essay... Why do they only give essays? Don't even get me started on Snape's assignment... 8 inches of "how to prepare a shrinking solution and then how to reverse it."
I hate being a 6th year, really I do. I want to be a 1st year again. It was all so...easy. The hardest thing I had to do was snap pics of Harry for some random people.
Well, I believe I'm off to start on my 15 essays...

Colin Creevey here. Not much to say other than it SUCKS being a 6th year... Honestly, it does. And Snape now hates me. Note to self: Never snap a picture of Snape no matter how much someone pays you.
Well I'm off. Snape's been after me. I fear he's going to award me a detention for snapping his pic.
