So...I'm sure you've heard that Cold asked to be released from their contract with Geffen. I'm bummed...mainly because they may be searching for a new label.... But, unless they're funding this jaunt with Sevendust by themselves...there isn't going to be any tour support!

Well Cold's single Suffocate has been on the radio for around a month now...if anyone has any radio website links that have a place for voting post them and we will all go vote to spread the Cold!!!

I have been meaning to join a cold community, but I had the one in deadjournal. And I thought not many people listened to Cold, so I decided to search for some communities to maybe keep my hopes up. Well first of all... I am suppose to see Cold and Evanesence on the 25th. I came to New York to maybe get a chance to see them, and I found out that school is starting for me in the 25th. So I will have to go back to Florida. I know this is pointless, but I am frustrated with the many attempts I have made to just see Cold.
My first time was when Cold was going to shoot the "Gone Away" video. And so I was all ready, looking good. I decided to jump up and down a little. And I stabbed myself with a knife in my foot. I couldnt really walk, so my mother decided to make me stay. Well, I have been waiting for them to come down to Florida and somewhere around Miami or Broward County. And it looks like there is no hope for that.
This was worthless. But I just wish they could just come to Miami one day....

COLD FLYER CONTEST 2003
Its time for a good old fashioned Cold flyer creation contest! Some of the older members may remember the flyer contest a few years back. Well its time to do the same thing but only this time we are obviously promoting "Year of the Spider!" Here is what to do:
Design a Cold flyer that promotes the new Cold album "Year of the Spider." You may design it using a photo editing program such as Photoshop, Paintshop pro, etc. Or you can design one by hand and scan it to your computer. Here are some of the things your flyers should include:
1. Cold "Year of the Spider" in stores now
2. Featuring hit single "Stupid Girl"
3. Visit Cold's official site at www.coldonline.com
Other than that be creative. Use photos or anything else you can to spice up the flyer.
SIZE OF FLYERS: The flyers should be no larger than 1/4 of a page so that you can fit 4 flyers on a piece of normal paper. (5.5 X 4.25)
COLOR OR BLACK/WHITE: The flyers can be either color or black and white
DEADLINE TO TURN IN FLYERS: Monday, July 28, 2003.
WHERE TO SEND FLYER IMAGE: Toby@Coldarmy.com Subject "COLD FLYER SUBMISSION" INCLUDE YOUR FULL NAME, COLD ARMY USERNAME, AND FULL MAILING ADDRESS (SO I CAN SEND YOUR BEANIE IF YOU ARE A WINNER)

Coca-Cola will be releasing COLD glass bottles the date is unknown but they will be released in the near future.
Also in the July 24th? issue of Rolling Stone there will be a full-page Coke ad with Cold. In the ad Scooter is quoted saying, "Our fans, The Cold Army, are everything to us. So when Coke came to us with this project, we thought it would be a great way to thank our fans for believing in us and standing behind our music for all these years . Their support is real and we couldn't have done any of this without them."
