Gas tax holiday
I say: waive, get rid off, exterminate the federal tax on gas. At least then it would be to some relief....
Of course, Val is on the other end of things. She said that it wouldn't do any good but make things worse...people are going to get used to the lower gas prices and when they go back up it's going to be a shock.
Uh, I don't know about her, but it's still a shock to me every time I pass a gas station. Luckily I'm not paying near $100 just to fill up a monstrous SUV. But still. I think it would help. Sure food prices and everything else would be high, as they are continuing to rise anyways, so wouldn't it make sense to alleviate some of that financial burden somewhere??
