$19 for a bottle of temporary happiness! 8-D [23 May 2004|08:19pm] [ mood | amused ] [ music | Phantom Planet - In Our Darkest Hour ] Been a long time since I've updated. I think it's mostly because anything thats been on my mind lately would piss people off if I put it up LMAO. O well, I guess I have to talk about shit that no one cares about then. I got FFXI now, it's a great game. It's hard though, hard to level up your character. I think I actually did like Evercrack more than this game though. This game doesn't have to many abilities or spells for characters. Everquest on the other hand has a bunch of them from the moment you begin. It gives a lot of diversity to the game and makes it more fun. Every time I fight something in FFXI I do the same thing over and over and over. The abilities also have cool down times on them so once you use them you have to wait to use them again. My character is a thief so if I try to steal from an enemy its 5 minutes before I can steal again, kind of a bitch to say the least. Listening to Phantom Planet - The Guest right now, what a great CD. I'd like to see them live, they kind of remind me of Cake. My weekend was pretty much a blur of alcohol, a very pleasant blur lol. It's nice to not give a shit about things, you can forget all lifes bullshit problems and tell everyone to fuck off for a while. $19 gets a big bottle of Smirnoff Vodka, it's a great deal. Tastes like shit, but does the trick 80) My PS2 broke but we had the warranty so after sending it in we got a voucher for $215. For those of you that don't know PS2's are now $150 so I ended up with some extra money. I bought DVD's with it. I got Kill Bill, Roger and Me, and Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. They are all great movies. Hmmm, I already took a shower today but I'm in the mood for another one. I'm gonna go get cleaned up then watch Kill Bill. I slept until like 12:30 then I decided I wanted to make a mix CD. 50 songs later the mix is going to be about 3 CD's lol. So i get ready to burn then I remember my burner is broke....I'm such an idiot lol. Oh well I saved the playlist so I will be able to burn it when it gets fixed. I'm really bored. I can't fucking wait for Final Fantasy XI. OH MY GOD, it's going to be great. I don't talk about it much because I know no one wants to here about it but one of the most fun things I have ever done is play Everquest. For those of you that don't know Everquest is a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game). They are so fucking fun but only if you are into role playing games. They are really addicting to, people actually do become addicted. I played that game from sun up to sun down, honestly, I wouldn't move. Everquest is defienitely on the top ten best games ever list in my mind. It's because you are playing with real people. It's not just a game it's like a society. Haha, yea I know I'm a huge loser but really you find so many cool people on there. Final Fantasy XI is supposed to be better than Everquest too and I believe it. Most frightening experience of my life! [24 Apr 2004|11:53am] [ mood | contemplative ] [ music | Can't Stop - Red Hot Chili Peppers ] Okay, I tried Salvia Divinorum last night and it is fucking insane. I took one hit and held it for 20 seconds. By about 10 seconds I was already feeling a little something. Then I took another hit and was totally gone. Jesse and Diana were there to help me. Jesse saw that I was really out of it because I forgot there was smoke in my lungs and wasn't really exhaling it. He told me to give him the lighter and the bowl and I said, "Yea, that's probably a good idea." I was completely out of it, you just aren't there anymore. I totally forgot I smoked it by this point. Jesse told me to lie down on the bed which I don't remember. I guess I got up and laid down, that's when it got fucking nuts. I turned over because I was facing the bed and I was outside, outside in a world of legos (Yea, I know, it's crazy). I was the ground made of connected green blocks. I sat up and when I did I sort of unhooked from the wall next to me. My feet were still inside of the ground, but then again I didn't even have feet, I was just a sheet of green legos. My surroundings were just a vast misty peach color and I think there was a sun in the sky but I can't be sure. I looked at Jesse and Scout sitting there, they were sort of made out of legos to but I can't remember exactly how they looked. It was kind of like that Offspring video if you know what I'm talking about (good job Scout). Then I started to get scared. I didn't know I was tripping, I didn't even know I smoked. I suddenly thought that this was what real life was. It (put into terms you can understand) was like a lego matrix. "My whole life is a lie and I may be stuck here forever", I thought. I started flipping out. I was the most scared I had ever been in my life, honestly. I was trying to say something to lego Jesse and Diana but I couldn't. I had just unmasked the secret to life and was completely aww struck. I just sat there going, "umm...umm...umm". Then I looked to the left and saw first a giant round indentation then my vision panned out to see a giant lego. Then it panned further and there were more legos, thousands of them. Each huge blockrepresented another person's life. The giant sham, my "Lego Matrix". At this point I began to snap back to reality, Thank god!! My room was my room again but things were still interlocking. I looked down at my blanket and saw it was away from the wall. It was half interlocked in it though and I wanted to make it completely connected. I started tugging on it and so did Jesse. I got up and Jesse straightened it out. At this point I felt like I did the first time I did this (one hit, never documented it, short-lived, not very exciting). I layed down and looked at my ceiling, it was interlocking to the walls to in sort of like a jigsaw puzzle. I told Jesse I was going to lie down and close my eyes (that's what you are supposed to do on salvia) so I layed back and closed them, then...nothing happened. It was over and I was happy. The whole thing lasted 5 maybe 10 minutes. It scared the fucking shit out of me, doubting my existence was the worst thing to ever happen to me. Such a fucking crazy event. I can't get over it. If I ever do it again I'll do one hit. I don't think I ever want to trip like that again....maybe. Thank god Jesse and Scout were there to help me because if they weren't I probably would have flipped out and possibly hurt myself or burned the house down. Thank you so much guys, you're the best. I strongly encourage anyone who is thinking of taking salvia to have a sitter there with them. Oh yea, I just remembered. I think I know why I tripped about legos. Jesse pointed it out and I think he's right. The comforter on my bed has many green blocks in it and right under that is a peach blanket. I probably saw them when I got on the bed and my mind took and played with it. Then again what do I know haha. Tripping is really insane. I just didn't expect that at all. I thought I was going to know I was tripping and be able to calm myself down. In reality though I was totally gone. I thought that was really my reality and it terrified me. I don't think I could handle tripping for hours. If I had been in that lego world for a minute longer I would have really flipped. How do you handle losing your whole world in seconds. Every one of your friends lost, no family, no life. The curtain was drawn and the facade exposed. I don't know if I will do it again or not. I most likely will take one hits but I'm not sure I'll ever get that deep again. I may be better prepared if I ever do get that deep again. I also may have a good trip if I do it again.
