it was nice to see the Outer Banks again. i'm probably just partial from having family ties, but that's always been one of my favorite areas. it's kinda tacky because it runs off tourism, but shit. i love it. and even though i spend most of my time being paranoid about frying to a crisp, i love the ocean.
more details of events to come. for now, i have been informed that i should reread the Great Gatsby in it's entirety, and as i've been loaned a copy i don't see why not. i don't remember hating it back in... what, 10th grade English? when did we read that?
