the official story is that we were in the park after dark (and after hours!), working on an art project for Alex's class. we were outlining this tree against a building so you could still see it come morning. it was pretty cool, actually.
well, the police didn't think so. apparently someone called in a gang vandalism, and they showed up en masse to descend upon three teenagers with some sharpies.
anyway, that was the boring part of my night. following that, Rach, Alex, and i decided to go spray-paint Berryhill Bridge while we were at it (because tempting fate is so much fun), then end it with some impromtu camping in the middle of nowhere between a field and a pond. and God was it beautiful. got really fucking cold though when we got up at 6 to take Alex back to work and to get Rach's phone which she left at the bridge. which was completely destroyed by a car running over it at some point during the night.
bawlz. but the point is, i made friends with four horses that happened to be fenced up near where we decided to camp. they ate from my hands and let me pet them, which only made me more ecstatic and eager to run around looking for edible plants that i could give them.
