so Friday night i had my first night working for the AI. it's basically this union for stagehands and technical theater work. and stuff. it's a pretty sweet deal, i a good bit more than minimum wage. the only problem is that it's not reliable. it's part-time i-get-called-when-they-need-me-work. oh wells. better than no job. and Jimmy John's.
i has works to get done today. it will be a busy week, up til Wednesday.

Ben told me about this writing contest that he learned about from somewhere or another where you basically write an entire 50 000 word novel during the month of November. i'm a couple days late, but i signed up anyway. i decided to post about it in accordance with advice tidbit 3 that NaNoWriMo sent me:
3) Tell everyone you know that you're writing a novel in November. This will pay big dividends in Week Two, when the only thing keeping you from quitting is the fear of looking pathetic in front of all the people who've had to hear about your novel for the past month. Seriously. Email them now about your awesome new book. The looming specter of personal humiliation is a very reliable muse.
