for some reason, after i finally peeled my ass of the internet yesterday, i couldn't sleep. i don't know if it was my giddiness keeping me awake or what, but i pretty much roamed around the house completing various tasks until finally around noon as i was kicked back, getting a bit of reading done, i felt my eyelids start to feel heavy. you know the way it works: you're reading a good book, and you just want to finish the last seven pages, or watching a late-night tv show you've waited all week to see, or are driving long-distance down a dark road... whatever. it's not like your tired, it's just easier to keep your eyes shut than open. and after a good while of brain activity with the eyes closed, you finally at some point fall asleep without realizing it.
this happened, and i woke up to my mother returning home from a long day at work, full of stress which she would relieve by yelling at me.
my brain is so sending mixed signals right now. when i lay down, i can't sleep. so i get up to do something, and all of the sudden i can barely walk or keep my eyes open. what the hell. what's up with you brain? can we reach a concensus please? k thx bai.
