so Friday whilst i was watching It, mum made me put up the Christmas lights. i was a little annoyed, because it was only the day after Thanksgiving, but i took pity on the woman for we didn't get the tree put up 'till like... i think the 23 last year. bad me, no biscut.
anyway, it took me six hours to lug the box from the barn, put up the tree, adjust the branches to PERFECTION, string the lights, make them perfect, and put all the tinsle that had fallen to the floor during my efforts back on the tree. good, fine, well.
NEXT DAY: we go to Grammas. Andre came along, and we had fun. mum, me, Andre, Chris, and his girlfriend, played a KILLER game of Monopoly. it was fucking awesome. my family tends to play by our own Monopoly rules. anyway, it came down to me and Andre, and we both gave up rather than spend the next 342985745937845 hours trying to resolve a single game.
right then, we come back home the next day, and i find that MY TREE IS DESTORYED!!!
it turns out that, whilst we were gone, Ludda Pest (who we left inside to keep Daniel company) decided the tree was a GREAT place to play. i spent all of yesterday night taking down all the branches she knocked off, putting them back on, arranging them, and redoing the lights. it took great effort not to toss Ludda Pest against a wall repeatedly.
notes to self: ACC tomorrow, 7, McMicheal. evil swim meet of doom Wednesday. mail letter to Heath. buy socks from Kayla. make decal for Emmi's car. talk to Pam about horses on 8th. Tanglewood Saturday. Heather puppy. Calc test Wednesday.
