weekend didn't suck as bad as i first thought it would. Andre came in, and between him and Nick and Marshmellow, i got through the whole damned thing.
Wake was on friday. tons of people. if anyone knows how big the Wilkerson Funeral Home is, just picture this: the place barely held all the people there. halfway through it, Marshmellow and Andre and i managed to escape into the kitchens, where we sat reminescing about 8-bit comics until mother found us and reminded us magic cards were in the car. Andre and i smuggled a few decks in, and a few rounds of magic ensued.
Funeral was on Saturday, and the church was full. it was a pretty good funeral though, albeit a bit long. as David said, "i can just hear him sighing now." my Grandpa was an impatient man =) anyway, i'll skip the details, because some of it's sad, and some of it's probably boring to you.
today my da managed to guilt us all into seeing Harry Potter. Andre came with us. get this: my da invited him. crazy, eh? babe, you got my whole family charmed =p
it was alright. the book was far better (yes, yes. i've read the books, but i'm not a hardcore Potter fan.), and i say this because apparently the movie producers were so freaked out about trying to cram a 34598759843754357 paged book into a two and a half hour movie that they forgot a little thing called "scene transition." apparently they never watched the LotR movies, because those guys managed it.
anyway, i'm ok.

Breaststrokers do it underwater, Backstrokers do it on their back, Flyers do it with their hips, Freestylers do it anyway, IMers do it four ways, Sprinters do it faster, Distance swimmers do it longer; However you put it, SWIMMERS DO IT BETTER!!
i still say it should've been our motto for this year.
