at my house "cooling time" for baked goods lasts as long as it takes for said goods to be placed on the stove and a knife pulled out of the drawer.
i made hot fudge cake today. some of you may remember the glory of it from an entry a while back. fewer of you might've had the pleasure of eating some at my house. anyway, i made some tonight and i was cutting into it and the middle of it just spewed out chocolatey goodness from the where the cake quite finished baking. it was like a chocolate volcano, and it tasted awesome. clean up also has it's own special method: put a plate on top of the pan so the cats don't eat chocolate.
