i've decided i hate Christmas. it's too commercialized. businesses and industries have ruined my Christmas spirit. and my family has pretty much destroyed my joy of all of us gathering together... bah, fuck them. i have one thing left though!
one of the greatest things, for me, is to see the tree all decked up with lights and ornaments (most being made by five and six year old versions of myself and siblings), with a little pile of presents underneath. just a small pile of mystery wrapped in bright paper and topped... without a bow. no, we don't use bows at our house. we're lazy bastards, and it suits me fine.
seriously, i love that. and, seeing as how i'm wrapping presents, i thought i'd stop and share. and now back to presents.
