hmm... well, somehow the topic of childhood came up during conversation this weekend. my mommy told her usual three favorite stories about me. upon pumping her for more information, i also gotta couple others that i'd never heard. see, i always knew i was a hellion when i was a little kid, but i never realized just how violent i was..
before moving to North Carolina, and meeting the 6-pack about halfway through eighth grade, i'd had exactly four friends over the course of my entire life. first, there was Marti..
Marti was my first and best friend throughout all of kindergarten. i was her sheep. i followed her everywhere, growled at kids who teased her, and just generally was in love with her. of course, she wasn't quite as smitten with me as i was with her, but she managed to put up with me. then one day, she moved far, far away, to the mysterious land of *Arkansaw*.. a place which my little kindergarten self knew nothing about, save that it was far away. for some reason, i always pictured it as having lots of trees, too.
see, i remember everyone in my kindergarten class kept away from me (as most children did throughout grade school; i was always a loner), but i could never quite remember why. turns out, i would beat them up if they didn't do what i wanted. apparently, for some strange reason, they hated me for doing this. being both agressive, and ADHD, i didn't manage to make another friend until around third grade. in third grade, my mommy got a job at the library, and i had to change schools so i could ride the bus to school (hey! i DID get to ride the bus after all! i forgot completely about that..). after school i would go to a day care. this was where i met Heather. i thought she was the coolest person ever, because she watched the same cartoons i did, and taught me all the curse words. she was also the only person i knew with natural blonde hair and brown eyes. we never faught, and were best friends until fourth grade, when i moved to Nebraska.
sadly, in Nebraska, the schools were filled with preps. needless to say, i was quickly established as the social outcast. still, this cute little Jap/Korean boy (named Scott Horr) fell in love with me and asked me out in fifth grade. having always been a sucker for anyone that looks different, i accepted. even though we knew nothing about being girlfriend and boyfriend, we knew it was fun playing with each other. he became the third friend i'd ever had in my entire life. (hey, at least i wasn't beating people up anymore.) sometime during middle school, this girl named Jordan fell in love with Marshmellow, and after discovering my existance, fell in love with me. my fourth friend. Jordan and Scott remained my only friends there until i moved back to North Carolina.
through WoS, i met Dandelion, and he was my first friend here, and is still my best friend to this day. though Battle of the Books, i met Mommi, Emmi, and Ashz, and from there the rest of the 6-pack, which is still mah favorite group of people in tha world! err.. i think Claudi and Matt are the only other two people who i remember specifically when, where, and how we met. not only that, but they were the only two who i knew i was going to be friends with, the instant i saw them. i might tell you, but my finger is starting to hurt again, and i've just found an interesting RPG to read...
