We watched a very strange movied last night called Joe's Apartment. Parts of it were great, but other parts weren't.

It was worth watching once. What was it about? Talking cockroaches that lived in Joe's apartment. In case you plan on watching it, I won't say more. It is old enough to be on WGN.

Looking at it now, it appears as a big chickenshit class of 86 thing. That sucks.

Fortunately, I didn't put a whole lot of time or effort into it.

It sort of feels like nap time, though. Is that what happens when a person turns adult? Frightening.

Sounds like Dad may have to go off on another of his business trips. Wonder how many days this time? I don't mind, we've gotten used to it at home. Still it's nice when he can stay home.

Mom appreciates me being around when Dad is away, so I'll stick around the house more than usual and keep Mom company.

Shit, I phrased that poorly. It almost sounds like I am staying home to fulfill my duties as a son.

Mom is fun to be around, and we have some good times. I was happy when Mom and Dad finally got married.

Okay, I call her Mom, but if one wanted to be really technical, she is my stepmom. She is kind of young to be called Mom by me, but that's what I call her.

To be polite, I won't mention her age, but she is closer to my age than my Dad's age. Women are fussy about their ages, why, I don't know.

Just felt like getting up early, and I made coffee today! I think it is too strong.

That isn't really strange, just thought I'd let the rest of the world know how today started.

Mom and Dad are still asleep. so I need to be sort of quiet.
