I love my Blurty. It's my first foray into the wide world of blogging. And now it's going away.

That's right. I'm deleting my Blurty.

Nothing happens there, it's a hassle for me to remember to go over there and post, and all but two people on my friends' list can't comment with their names/userpics. So, in the next little while, I'll be transferring everything over here. I'll be reposting, see the responses, and maybe that will help me get the motivation I need to finish some of the stories I've got over there.

Unfortunately, none of the comments will transfer over. I've backed up what I can, and I'll keep trying to get everything on LJ Book. But things are changing. Perhaps I'll even start posting on the BR Saga here to get some feedback from the major players in the novel. I'm not posting 2005's LJ until I finish writing it and posting on BR Saga. Don't want to confuse people.

This journal will be friends only, mostly for potential copyright issues. I want to start working on some original fiction, and while I may want feedback from others, I don't want it to be out there for all the world to see until it is officially published. So, get thee over there and read!

1:03 am - Another evil plot bunny bites the dust
Here's another Luna-spawned plot bunnies. ::mock-glares at her:: Except this smut bunny decided to get angsty on me. ><

The things I do for smut.

Warnings: It was 1 AM when I finished, and I'm too tired to properly beta this right now. I think I caught the glaringly obvious errors while I was typing anyway. This is yaoi smut, a.k.a. NC-17 for sex between two of my male characters. And, this is from the Muse RPG, and follows Luna's fic Secret. Speaking of, two paragraphs (minus a verb tense) are hers.

10:52 pm - Yay, ficcage!!
Warnings: NC-17, yuri, lemon, AU of an AU (of an AU, etc.), Kyn/Zi

A/N: I completely and totally blame Luna for this particular plot bunny not that my twisted mind needed much help. This is an AU of Luna's AU Muse fic (possibly 'cause she's even admitted not know where that one'll go). Enjoy!! And, seeing as this is my first yuri fic, any constructive criticism is welcome.

11:17 pm - GW/Buffy Part 9
To Kitty and Luna, who keep nagging me to write on this.

The next few days were rather uneventful, besides Giles attempting to convince Duo that it would be better to live with one of the group instead of the hotel. Let's just say Giles learned just how stubborn the newest Slayer is; luckily, the Watcher is still in possession of all his body parts.

It didn't help matters when Duo and Spike were paired together for patrol, however. "You expect me to work with him?"

"My sentiments exactly," Spike sneered at the male Slayer. "How do I know he won't stake me in the back?"

Unfortunately for Duo and Spike, those were the wrong things to say. "You two will have to work together tonight. Buffy is still recovering from last night, the others are exhausted, and I can't take much more of your bickering." Giles cleaned his glasses, more out of nervous habit than necessity. He continued before the two men could protest. "I don't want to hear it. Just...go. Chikuma is still out there, so be careful."

Duo started for the door, nearly sulking before Giles' voice stopped him again. "I don't want any battle 'accidents'." The two men didn't say anything as they left the room, barely tolerating the other's presence.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Tramping through the cemetary was never a fun way to spend a night for Duo, but sometimes you had to do what you hated in this 'job'. Though, he didn't make it easy for the vampire. *I wish I could just stake him.....except for G-man Jr.'s 'no battle accidents' rule.*

Spike was no better. He only tolerated the male Slayer because his actions last night saved both Buffy and Niblet's lives.

~flashback~

Duo raised his eyebrow at the the teenager, more than likely his own age, chatter happily with her sister as they walked toward the cemetary they were attacked before. He pushed away any thoughts that might come up about carefree teenagers, focusing instead on watching the area more closely than his female counterpart seemed to do. "Why is Dawn coming along again?" he asked skeptically.

Rolling her eyes, Dawn answered for Buffy. "'Cause I don't get to spend much time with Buffy. And, it's not like I'm going out alone."

"Hope you don't regret those words...." Duo muttered, not quite glaring at Buffy. *You'd think she'd know better than to bring her sister on patrol when we haven't found that demon yet.*

~end flashback~

Luckily for Buffy, Duo could more than handle the small kiss that had attacked them that night, as one vampire managed to grab Dawn and distract Buffy from the rest of the fight. The thought of Duo bailing her out of the tight situation still chafed the female Slayer; no doubt she had asked not to patrol with Duo for a while.

That didn't make it all right for the Watcher to stick him with Spike. All he wanted was to get this patrol over with so he could curl up with a book.....after putting in a call to Trowa. By the time he finished, it would probably be morning for his friend.

11:25 pm - GW/Buffy Part 8
For Kitty, who keeps pestering me to continue this. ::sighs:: I should really, really write more than just Muse RPG fics...... Standard disclaimers apply.

Quatre and Wufei watched as Trowa tried to pull Heero away from his laptop. "He's gotten worse....."

"I know," Wufei agreed, noticing Trowa becoming more agitated as Heero became more stubborn about his search. "Has he found anything?"

The blond gave a curt nod. "He knows Duo quit the Preventers last week, without warning, and that he flew to the North American continent." He frowned when Trowa stormed, for him, over to them. "No luck?"

"None. Since he narrowed Duo's location down to what was California, he refuses to take a break." A small frown broke through his normally expressionless face. "Any ideas on what to do with him?"

"Short of bashing him on the head, no." Wufei cursed in Chinese. "Is anyone else getting tired of hearing that keyboard?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Tara watched Willow at their vanity, brushing her hair, but her mind was focused on something other than her lover. *Why won't Duo let Will and Giles tell anyone why he's a Slayer? I mean, wouldn't it be better if we knew now than to be surprised later by a baddie?*

"Would you want strangers knowing your deep-dark secrets?" Turning around, Willow looked at Tara sadly.

For her part, the brunette looked slightly ashamed. "I didn't know I said that out loud." She sat beside Willow. "Can you tell me anything?"

Willow sighed, setting her brush down. "It's for him to tell. And, I'm still trying to understand the details myself." Sighing, she rested her head on Tara's shoulder. "I feel sorry for him, having to give up everything for the Hellmouth."

"Maybe he'll fit in."

"......Maybe......"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

*Tonight sucked,* Duo groused, working the conditioner into his hair. *I never asked to do this, G. I never wanted this destiny....this half-life.*

//I'm sorry you had to take it in my place.//

The ghostly voice reverberated in the room, but he wasn't worried about anyone else hearing. He was just glad that he could blame his tears, the few that he allowed himself, on the shower. *Miss you, Aislinn.....*

//I know, Tamnais. I know.// Before the conversation could go further, the voice disappeared, leaving Duo alone with his memories.

I dunno if I've talked about this, but I was nominated for Poet of the Year. However, since I can't go to the convention, I'm not eligable for any of the prizes. They will read my poem at the convention in my stead and send me the awards I have already won for a mere $169 plus s&h. ::snorts::

I know it's been a long while since I've updated, but I have been writing...some...I promise. And thus, the fruits of my labor! Not technically a fanfic, since both charas are original, but they're part of an odd RPG/chat-group thing.

Can the person posting poetry as comments on my journal please identify his- or herself? What you are writing is beautiful and all, but it is getting annoying when I think I have someone commenting on my writing and instead see a poem.

I'm flattered that you like my work, but ::holds finger and thumb close together:: I am this close to deleting your comments and blocking your ISP(s). I don't want to block a friend, but what you are doing is getting annoying.

10:59 pm - HP Ficlet 2 part 3
Standard disclaimers and all that jazz. Oh, and did I mention this is an AU from 4th book on? If not, well, it is. ^^ Sorry for the confusion.

The darkness pulsed around him. But, unlike the Chamber of Secrets or even the graveyard where he witnessed Voldemort's return, the darkness was warm. Almost...comforting? Either way, it wasn't something to be feared.

Here, in the darkness, he could hide from everything. He didn't have to think about school or Snape, the press or that potion he was forced into testing. It had to be wrong, anyway. The Mirror or Erised wouldn't lie to him. He could clearly remember seeing the Potters, his parents, waving back at him as clearly as if he were standing in front of the mirror. No sign of that deformed head or those red eyes anywhere.

He was Harry James Potter...wasn't he?

"You what?!?" Sirius growled, barely restrained by Remus' hand on his shoulder. "You said you would protect him!"

Albus looked at the younger man, grief and fear warring with anger. "I did everything I cou...."

"Bullshit!"

"Sirius!" Remus snapped. "Albus isn't to blame for this."

The Animagus glared at his best friend. "He just admitted he did nothing to keep them from taking Harry! And now that bastard has my godson in his hands, and there's bloody nothing keeping him from killing Harry!"

"I don't think Voldemort is out to kill Harry." Albus walked from behind his desk to Fawkes' perch; gazing into the phoenix's fiery eyes, he looked for a glimmer of hope, but, alas, there was none. "There is more to this than Harry's death. If that was all there was to this, Voldemort would have shown up at St. Mungo's last night and killed Harry while I was out of the room."

Growling softly, Sirius merely glared at Albus.

"I fear this is only the beginning. And that Harry may not come out of this unchanged."

9:48 pm - HP Ficlet 2 part 2
See? I actually got around to continuing this!! ^^ HP belongs to JKR, yada yada yada, AU, yada yada yada......

Four figures apparated into a nondescript room, occupied by a lone patient deep in St. Mungo's. Behind his mask, Lucius wrinkled his nose at the hospital smell. *Why can't that damned rat Pettigrew do this? There are so many other things I'd rather do for the Master, except I get the honor of retrieving this whelp of a child.* Of course, what he wanted never mattered much to Lord Voldemort, but it was nice to think he had some status among the Death Eaters. At least he had control of this mission.

"You two, grab the boy. You, make sure no one comes in here," Lucius ordered, pointing to the other Death Eaters as he spoke.

The two Death Eaters carefully wrapped the slight figure in the blankets from his bed before the larger of the two cradled the figure to his chest almost reverently.

Snapping, Lucius turned to look at the figure; luckily, his mask hid any nervousness or ill feelings towards the figure. "Hurry up. Our Master wishes his brother brought to him quickly."

"Not if I have anything to say about it." Lucius turned to see his lookout lying on the floor, unmoving, and a purple-robed wizard in the door. "I'll thank you to place Harry back in his bed. Now."

Lucius sneered. "I don't think so, old man." A slight gesture with his hand, and the three conscious Death Eaters apparated away from the wizard hospital, and the comatose Harry Potter with them.

Albus only had enough time to blink before they disapparated with Harry; he had been close to reaching the teenager before his body demanded rest. It was his fault Voldemort now has Harry.

And, who knows what Voldemort would do with the Boy Who Lived....

Standard disclaimers and all that jazz. This is dedicated to Foxy and Kitty--Foxy as payment from an auction God knows how long ago, and Kitty 'cause she's the one who hasn't let me forget about this completely. And Luna, who was supposed to thwap me to work on this during my nice long Thanksgiving holiday.

"There's something I just don't get."

Buffy looked over at her black-clad successor. "Yes?" They walked through the park where they had run into Chickuma the previous night, hoping to run into the demon again. So far, however, they'd found nothing.

Duo glanced at Buffy before focusing on the surrounding area. "Why do you keep that vampire around?" He ran a hand through his bangs. "I mean, usually vampires belong at the business end of a stake...."

Sighing, the blond twirled a stake in her hands. "Well, he didn't start out good, but he and Drucilla had a falling out and then the government got a hold of him.... Let's just say, if he was a threat to my family, I would've staked him long ago," she said, leading the way through a brushy area.

"So he's useful, eh? Hn." Just as the blond got through the brush, she stopped short, causing Duo to nearly run into her.

"Well, well, well. It's the blond Barbie and a new friend?" Chikuma taunted, moon shining down on her in the middle of the clearing. "Dru-chan mentioned you were rather predictable"

Buffy glared at the demon as Duo just smirked; the two Slayers moved into the clearing and spread out to give the other fighting room. "Maybe you should rethink this whole attacking us thing. Last night it was just me," Buffy taunted back; she'd been itching for a fight, and here was one just waiting for her.

"Now, there're two Slayers for you to deal with," Duo picked up Buffy's train of thought, sizing up the demon.

Chikuma smirked. "That's not a problem, dear boy. I have more tricks up my sleeve than you've had years alive....combined," she added, sneering at Buffy. The demon lunged at Buffy, drawing two long knives from her sleeves; Buffy dodged one knife aimed at her stomach as Duo ran over to block the other knife with one of his own. The two Slayers attacked the demon as one, though most of their attacks were expertly blocked and countered by Chikuma. One well-placed kick knocked Duo into Buffy and onto the ground. "Don't worry, dear boy. I've gotta keep you alive....for now." The demon faded out of existance. "Give my regards to Kane....."

Disgusted, Buffy shoved Duo off of her. "This is all your fault."

"Like I asked to get knocked into you," Duo retorted, just as disgusted. "Let's just finish patrol so I can go to the hotel and get a shower." Brushing the dirt off his jeans, Duo followed Buffy around for the rest of the night, all the while wondering just who this Kane was.

I know. I've been bad. I haven't updated in, like, three months, I haven't written anything in at least that long, and I'm only getting ideas of what I want to write and not actually writing.....

But, most of what I've written hasn't gotten much response, and it's hard to continue writing something if the excitement of entertaining others isn't there. No, I'm not pimping for reviews; I'm just making a statement.
