6:04PM - NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS??
it is that time of the yr again... but i wonder if there is a pt to
come up with new year resolutions when i think most of the
time i cant keep to them.... heh... but one resolution i must
make for work is really not to be part of anymore committees
after i finish my final term with the social comm...
this yr has been busy and crazy and time really fliessss...as the
yr comes to an end... it oso means i will be another yr older..
that leaves me with 4 more yrs to save up enough money to
buy a place in preparation of my bachelorette days... LOL...
rather than having resolutions, can i make wishes instead??
the past 1yr or so 3 ppl made me feel special but they are also
the ones that made me disappointed... i have gotten over all
the rubbish... but i really hope that these ppl who jus wanna
come and mess ard to pls stay out of my life.. i really dun wish
to go thru such crap over and over again...
this is my only wish so far... apart from this life has been pretty
alright....
how abt things i wanna do?
danced to the song sway - done
sang with a live band - done
learn patchwork and quilting - done
in the pipeline (i hope)
set up my blog shop
teach handicraft to less fortunate kids
perform the tango or other dance

2:15AM - FINALLY AFTER 13 YEARS!!
my dear fren jianting and his now wife meiting finally tied
the knot!! it is a really longggggg time.. i mean these
days, dating for 13yrs is def not the norm...
they had a live jazz band that was really good, jianting
belted out a number with the band for his wife.. the bride
danced with her dad and den with the groom.. somehow
the evening was jus really relaxing... a few of us hit the
dance floor to dance with the couple as well.. hee.. it was
fun~~ perhaps the best wedding i have attend so far..
thank goodness i was seated with one of our common
fren Ben Ho.. though we have not met since graduation,
it is better than not knowing anyone :) we had a good
chat and we realised that our offices are jus opp each
other.. so near yet so far and we have neva bump into
each other... den we were on the topic of r/s, marriage
and stuff... well i guess wat he said had some truth ...
when we are single, we wanna be attached.. and when we
are attached we wanna be single... everytime we attend
weddings... we wanna get married... when we step out we
are fine.... hahahha... life is full of ironies
also, the world is indeed small, jianting's close cousin
happened to be my colleague!
Ben intro me to he and jianting's common fren B-zai and
wife from HK...they flew in specially for the wedding.. i
wonder if halim will fly in from hk if i ever get married..
heh.. anyway nice couple, and we hit it off quite well..after
the dinner we went for drinks at chatterbox cos B-zai
wanted to have chicken rice... ben and me were totally full
from the wedding feast earlier.. so i ordered their signature
coconut icecream and had red wine to go with it... not the
most likely combination but oh well..it doesnt matter does
it? :P
ben suggested goin to st james after the wine... but after
looking at him and he admitting that he is drunk.. the best
option is to go home..although he said he would order fruit
juice at st james... hahah... still we figured home is the best
option... could tell that he was kind drowsy in the cab,, i did
ask if he wanted to get off first but he said he was okie, still
know wat was happening else he wouldnt admit that he is
drunk...ah? weird reasoning... anyway, i reckon he got home
in one piece considering the fact that he smsed to ask if i
got home safely...
thats why i told myself know my limits... neva get drunk
outside~
